Husband got the shrimp boil and was not is any sauce or broth. Completely blan and plain. Absolutely horrible! Was only a few shrimp, not even a half pound, we also ordered a half pound of old bay steamed shrimp, came with no old bay...at all! One kid got a cheese quesadilla and entire thing didn’t have cheese same with a crab quesadilla. Overall food was completely horrible! Got a watermelon mojito and it talked like triple sec and mint! Horrible! Not worth $130 plus tip. Service was good! Left a $20 tip. So definitely not worth $150 total. Find anywhere else!!! H and H up the road is awesome! Fresh seafood and small family owned! Go there!More
We were here on a Tuesday night, place was packed, lines out the door, but it goes fast. Bring your patience. We got a drink at the bar as we waited for our table and caught sunset outside. Within 15 mins we were called to...eat outside. Sat outside back patio overlooking marina, great view but with people sitting closest to the marina outside, they had their umbrellas tilted so you couldn't see the sunset, why, not a clue, they had the best seat in the house and they blocked the view, every single table, all 4 of them but then 1 family actually put the umbrella down.
Food was good, service too but she forgot a lot of items and had to be reminded, granted she had a table of 10 next to us and her focus was more there. At one point when our conch fritter app came i went up to the bar to get my silverware, we had no plates to share the app, so used the napkins that were on the table. We both ordered the crab cake sandwich broiled, excellent with fries. All delicious, but she forgot the old bay, malted vinegar and water. I had asked earlier. I'm pretty laid back but had to ask twice and both times forgotten. Oh well. Food was great as was the atmosphere. I'd go back again. There was live entertainment as well, very good. Nice seating area by the entertainment as people waited for their tables. Place is huge. Fun place!More
This was our second visit. We came in June 2020 and came back August 2021. It will be our “go-to” for every trip to Wildwood! It such a great atmosphere. Both times we waited for @30 minutes. My 10 yo son and I wait with...daiquiris by the marina. Looking at yachts and watching the sunset. The staff are so busy and remain courteous and on point! The food never disappoints. Always get some fresh crab.More
This normally is one of our favorite places to eat. We were a party of 4. They were very busy, but we only waited 15 to 20 minutes to be seated. 2 in our party split 1 1/2 lb. of snow crab legs and we...ordered flounder and salmon. The crab legs were fine but the fish we ordered was over cooked and dry but since we were starving we ate it anyway. Plus with the service being really slow we didn't want to wait for a replacement. When our server finally came to our table to check on us, we were done eating. We mentioned the dry fish. Of course he snapped back "Well you ate it didn't you"? He didn't offer to adjust the bill in any way. I guess I'll have to chalk it up to the effects of Covid on the bar and restaurant business this year. No place has enough help and the help they do have are not what I would call their A Team! I can only hope maybe next year thing will improve.More
We had a reasonably good experience. The food was good. I had the lobster/seafood pot. Our friend had some high-end sandwiches. Really solid meal, but I downgraded for the price. For $270 for six people, I expect amazing food and drinks instead of just good....We were all dripping wet with sweat by the time we left outside dining. There was. I. Ross breeze in the back and no fans. Heat is not their fault, but not having fans is.More
food was delicious. We got raw oysters and fries with cheese, crabmeat, old bay seasoning. Delicious. I got the lobster boil. Food was fresh.
Great views and wonderful service. I want to go back again.
This has been a favorite restaurant of ours for as long as I can remember. We look forward to it every year. The hostesses and waiter we had seemed annoyed all night. The food was not as good as usual. I know there are staffing...issues and we understand that. The clam
Chowder was undercooked and the potatoes in it were crunchy. The scallops were very small and overly breaded. The fish was over cooked although the stuffed chicken was good. Not the remarkable dinner we’re used to. What happened in the gift shop after was more upsetting though.
My family member asked the woman working about something they used to do for kids that they discontinued (they gave them a gold coin and let them pick a toy out of a treasure chest). The woman said “it’s all because of this bullsh** covid virus that doesn’t exist. You can thank the Democrats for that”. My mom said “actually my brother in law died from covid”. The woman replied “check again- I bet he didn’t”.
My mom graciously walked away but I can’t believe a woman working at a restaurant would say that!! We just buried a family member and have lost numerous friends to this. She is entitled to her beliefs but it’s not appropriate, in my opinion, at her job and also, why is she using language like that around kids in the gift shop?
A disappointing evening all around.More
