Looking for a real deal italian restaurant and found this. Great old school dining experience through every course. Family style salad with bread a great starter! The lime sorbet to refresh the palate was a very nice touch .Food was very good along with the...service. Stuffed mushroom appetizer was perfect.
Look forward to returningMore
I was told I would be charged $25 per person if we didn’t show for our reservation or canceled less than 24 hours in advance. That would be $150 for our party of 6. We arrived for our reservation and waited 3 hours for our...meals! When I asked the manager, Steve, (tall guy in a red shirt) why we had waited 3 hours for our meals, he told us we could cancel our meals and leave. I have eaten here every year on our vacation since 1997. This was awful and were treated so rudely.More
We ate at Alfe's for the early bird special. It included soup, salad, entree (choice of several different dishes) and dessert and coffee/tea. The soup was a chicken broth with some small pasta stars, salad was a wilted small salad, the entree was good, but...such a small amount of food, and the dessert was a very small glass mason jar of vanilla or chocolate pudding. For the price, it was a big rip off. The amount of chicken (I bet it was 2 or 3 oz. of chicken and a very small amount of pasta). I left hungry. Beware.More
My family and I have been going here for years and we love the food, but we constantly have issues with the people at the front desk/answering the phone. I called to make a reservation for 15 people. I was told that they don’t take...reservations for parties larger than 10 and we would have to come before 5pm because they don’t wait on parties larger than 10. So I asked if I could make 2 separate reservations that could be close together and I was told no. The 2 women I spoke to were rude and I not accommodating. I felt like I had to beg to be able to dine at this establishment which is completely unacceptable to me. I’m really sad because I love the food, but I refuse to give my hard earned money to a place where people don’t even try to be kind. Won’t ever go back.More
We decided to try this restaurant for restaurant week. Well it definitely did not disappoint! The food the service was amazing! The salad with house dressing is a must.. the eggplant delicious, filet Marsala delicious and the shrimp scampi the best i have ever had!...Cannoli ice cream loved it! The lemon sorbet to cleanse your palate so tasty!
We will absolutely be back and being open all year long is even more excitingMore
Just fabulous! However i suggest Stick to the Italian food. My son got the MahiMahi and didn't like it. The Chicken Jacki is sensational. My friend got the Ravioli and loved it. My son loves the Tour of Italy. Garlic bread wonderful! Great cocktails! We...love AlfesMore
Relaxing, slow paced dinner with Sinatra era music and real table cloths. Entrees were spectacular! We had Chilean Sea Bass with Crab, Shrimp & Scallops in a light cream sauce (Jacki) and the Broiled Combo which included Flounder, Clams Casino and the best Stuffed Shrimp...that were not filler but lump crab. Alfe's doesn't look like much from the outside but it is our new favorite restaurant in Wildwood.More
We loved everything about this place! We went to celebrate New Year's so we spared no expense...we ordered an appetizer and drinks, which we really rarely do. The martinis were delicious, as was the appetizer (roasted peppers and sopressata). For my main course, I had...the Chilean Sea Bass and it was amazing. My boyfriend had the steak au poivre and it too was amazing. I've lived in this town for 3 years now and this was my first time here but it most definitely won't be my last!More
When vacationing, there is always that one restaurant you save for a special night. Alfe’s is our restaurant for that night. Year after year we have never been disappointed. Their Jackie sauce is an absolute delight! It’s a combination of different seafood in a sauce...which can be served over steak, chicken or veal. We always vacation with a large group of family members and everyone is happy with Alfe’s, particularly their salad which is outstanding. I do not think you will be disappointed with Alfe’s!More

I would have to respectfully disagree. Anytime you are charged $8 to add half a cup of spinach to your pasta.., I see that as unreasonable. A party of 4 should not be expected to shell out $179 for some pasta with a few shrimp... along with 4 glasses of wine ( table wine ) and 3 " Long Hot Peppers". They charge Atlantic City prices in center city Wildwood. Very bad.
