Before I review the food, let me tell you about the delivery. I
When I placed the order, I asked them to bring change because the smallest I had was a $20. I met the deliveryman at the elevators in the hotel lobby. He said, The bill is $11.10. How about I give you change for $13.00?" I told him, "How about you give me my change and then I'll give you your tip." Bet he was smug when I gave him $2.00. What he didn'the know was that I was going to give him $3.00 before he got greedy.
I ordered the Reuben with extra dressing on the side. It was a good sandwich but would have been better on rye or pumpernickel rather than as a cibatta roll pannini. It was still warm when delivered.The whole dill pickle which as in the online menu was not available. Space I didn't see the fresh fruit option until later, so I ended up ordering chips to meet the delivery minimum.

Salads and sandwiches made to order. Great specials, got food, pizza, breakfast all day. There is no better place to go in the area. Great for catering large groups.

Came to buy a Sandwich; Totally disappointing starting with the lady in the register, Zero Customer service attitude, had to listen to her complaining “why people was coming in when they “were closed” and the website said open till 4:00 pm it’s 1:30 pm now... Never again.

Sal's is our 'go to' for lunch. You can get in and out quickly and the food is always good and fresh. Salad bar is one of my favorites.

When I entered I had no idea what I wanted or where to even look. A very kind lady/employee explained the process and what to do. Was very helpful. Very clean place and can tell this place gets busy and crowded in a hurry. I will be back!

Was recommended by a client.
Was not disappointed.
Food was very good, reasonably priced, staff was efficient and friendly.
Plenty of choices as far as the menu goes.
No secret that this place is good (judging from the amount of folks coming in and the amount of take out bags I saw).
A hidden gem in the middle of an industrial park.
Sat downstairs (limited seating). Think there was more seating upstairs. As far as a business meal goes pretty much on par with going to the local diner. Maybe just a bit tighter squeeze.
If in the area would go back again.

Sal's is tucked away among numerous warehouses, industrial buildings, and construction companies. In this unlikely place, Sal's sits there offering a surprisingly good selection of salads, flat bread sandwiches, deserts, etc My first reaction when I walked in was "a yuppie place". However, the customers ran the gamut of office types, factory workers, and even a pair of Bergen County Police officers. The food looked excellent, with a number of workers quickly filling the orders. There are a few tables, but the take-out business was booming. On a whim, I tried a Chili Dog - better luck next time - the chili was VERY good, but the hot dog was not. The rest of the food counter looked great - it was my mistake to not order a sandwich! Next time I will.
