It’s just not the same as the original 53rd and 6th cart but it will do in a pinch. We ordered for delivery via UberEats on a Sunday night. Hubby and I both got the beef gyro as we usually do because the chicken tends to be dry. Instead of chopped up meat like the cart, the gyro here is in slices. Not sure if that’s good or bad but it still tasted good. I also like that you can add extra lettuce, tomatoes, and add chopped green pepper for no additional cost. They don’t have this option at the cart. The veggies are much needed to help cut down some of the grease and heaviness.
Each platter came out to about $15 without tip. Next time, I won’t be a lazy bum and I’ll do a pick up order instead, so that I don’t need to pay the added fees for Uber.

I came here with my Mom and she ordered what we thought was a very plain meal, but it still had some kick to it. My Mom cannot handle anything spicy (maybe I should have picked a different spot?) so this is not an issue with the Halal Guys, but just a warning. My meal, on the other hand was tasty and just what I wanted.

We stopped here for lunch after shopping in the area on a cold rainy afternoon. My wife and I both had the chicken wrap and it really hit the spot. The meat was moist and flavorful and the veggies nice and fresh. Their "white sauce" is really good too!

This is a Middle Eastern fast food restaurant that specializes in Shwarma and beef Gyro. It's not bad if you are on the go and don't have time for a real meal. For the entertainment value alone, listen to the comments from behind the counter; on my last visit it was like tribal warfare, with the cashier, a young kid, taking the brunt of the customer's complaints as the orders arrived all mixed up. It does get sorted out.

Ready for some good gyro sandwiches and combination platters? Then if you are you have to stop by Halal Guys, no fancy dining experience but solid great consistent food!

I am originally from Israel, so I used to this kind of food. The food is good but it is never good as at home and I think a lot of people that it the original in Israel or Greek or even Turkish will say the same that it is good but not something to write about it back home but if you miss home food, it could be nice. We have been there one afternoon and the line was not bad but I saw one time that the line was so long that it get into the street.

Busy. Form a line and wait your turn. I ordered the gyro. Beef & chicken with all the accompaniments . I did not really enjoy it but it was prepared well, was substantial, but I compared it to the traditional Greek lamb one. Not really a fair comparison, but still it did not woo me.
