Nothing was particularly noteworthy. Nothing as bad but not great either. Famous crab bisque was good but definitely needed salt and a splash of cayenne pepper. Sea scallops were ok but risotto was runny and had little flavor. Calamari was rubbery. The couple next to...us said their sea bass and lamb chops were great but since I did not have that I can't comment one way or the other. Not alot of restaurants in this area so it is worth the try. But do note it is rather expensive. Check out the menu before you go and be sure to have a reservation in season.More

Delicious! Went for our daughter’s 16th birthday dinner. Took about 15 minutes to be seated even though we had 7:00 reservations. Seated outdoors which was a nice small area only 4 tables right by entrance to beach by the dunes. Quiet and felt like our...own private space. Ahi tuna, lamb chops, pork chop and salmon shrimp dinners. Everything exceptional and decent portions. Excellent service. Highly recommend!More

Finally, A great meal out! So far most dining out this 2020 year has been a disappointment. Well, Chefs Mike's was excellent from start to finish. We had a reservation outside on upper deck. We were greeted right away and seated. Waitress & wait staff...all very efficient. Drink orders taken, warm bread on the table, so far so good. Fried calamari with a thai sauce, salads & soup very good. Entrees of short ribs of beef, filet mignon, delicious! (Turned out to be a red meat night for us)and did not disappoint. Short ribs fell off, filet was so tender, the fork could cut it. Hot tea, and cream brulee was the dessert of choice and came with three lemon cookies. All were a generous size too. Dessert is not our thing, and we were overstuffed, but decided to end this great meal with a full course. Overall, it was one of the best meals I have had out this year 2020.More

Violated my first rule of fine dining - bring the food out hot !! Bar - Watered down drinks with flat club soda. Appetizers- burying the frozen shrimp in garlic does not fool me - acceptable burrata and enough for two ...very good crabmeat cocktail......Main Course - all served from tepid to cold Pedestrian rice pilaf (Near East brand) with below average back fin flavorless crab cakes for $38 !! Scallops were below average compared to local fish joints found all along Jersey Shore Massive Short Rib ...which wasn't touched by diner but looked good New Zealand lambchops given an "average" rating by diner. For $40 an entree you need to wow me. Nice atmosphere and lucky to dine indoors on chilly night. For those who give rave reviews ...set your standards higher..this is NOT gourmet dining.More

First time here on a Wednesday night at 5:30 great experience. Chopped salad was amazing also the clams casino. Scallops, swordfish and cod were all amazing. SERVICE WAS ALSO AWESOME. Second visit waitress was very busy with large tables she was overwhelmed. Took our drink...and food orders 25 MIN AFTER BEINFG SEATED. Being in the food business I will not bash this lovely restaurant on 1 meal but I'm just going to say the following. Eating early everything was spectacular. Second visit food was over cooked totally different experience. Worth trying again defiantly on a week night.More

Poor Customer Service ! Made a reservation for 4 people for dinner . Upon arrival we were told they had no record of our reservation . We were then told they have additional seating in the rear of the building , down below , in...the parking lot . They were going to move additional chairs to the small high- top tables . We ate across the street at another place and had a very nice meal !More

Went for dinner few weeks ago and 4 of us were seated on the beach We had just ordered drinks when we noticed mice crawling on the side of the building where we were sitting. We were grossed out we got up and heard other...women complaining at another table that they saw them we told the hostess she didn’t seem to care we contacted the restaurant several times no one has ever responded back on this issue now we have heard from several people the same thing that mice are crawling on only outside but inside when you have to go to use the restrooms this is unacceptable I hope someone resolve this issue because it was a nice place to go Just Because there’s outside dining does not make it all right for mice to crawl around they carry disease! Since writing this we have heard from reading other reviews that the owner seems to be arrogant and does not like un favorable reviews !!More

I usually get the aged ribeye which is always love. Cooked to perfection every time I go. I've also had an array of seafood and they are equally as delicious. Always tough to get a reservation there which is a little annoying but I guess...adds to exclusivity a bit.More
