Birthday Meal

Went to celebrate my nephew's 16th birthday. He choose the restaurant. Server was nice and kept refilling the sodas without being asked. We all had steak, some with the lobster mac n cheese. Everybody was happy with their meals. Servers sang happy birthday to my nephew. Very pleasant dinner.

OK place to eat and relax

Nice ambiance. Low pressure. Fairly expedient service. Good food. Now for the bad news. Myself and my wife met a couple for dinner here. Our waiter made (3) key mistakes. (1) She charged my friend's wife for a glass of water. She failed to advise my friend that his bowl of soup (side order) was an extra and not covered under the side dishes allowable for his meal. (3) She failed to advise me that my house glass of red wine was not covered under their (in effect at this time) happy hour and so I was charged $13.00 for a 9 oz. glass of wine. Outrageous. Be advised.

New Management

We came in for lunch today and a delicious lunch. Our food was cooked perfectly and the service was great. I wanted to leave a review because we had an encounter with this Outbacks newest manager, Madison! She was phenomenal!! We come into this outback a lot and haven’t had a manager stop by like this. Madison was friendly, engaged and bubbly. She checked on us and made sure our time at the restaurant was a great one. We hope she is a face we continue to see at this location.

Disappointing dinner

Our meal started with a long wait in an unorganized line. After waiting for 50 minutes (the original estimate was 45) we were told we had 39 more minutes to wait while we heard the same time estimate given to other guests who just came in. Only after I complained to the hostess we got seated. The food itself was disappointing - the seared tuna was cold and was accompanied by a dry salad, my filet mignon was significantly undercooked and after I returned it, took 25 minutes before I got it back cooked unevenly this time (they basically put the same partially eaten steak I returned on the grill again). Our table was not cleaned before desert. Our waiter was OK but nothing more so all in all this was a disappointing meal.

So Very Disappointed

I am an avid outback person for one reason - their Kookaburra wings. Always get them without the bread crumbs and hot. This past Sunday, i ordered the wings and my husband did as well - but he did want the breading on it. We did curbside pick-up. The wings were dry, mealy - just plain disgusting. I am so disappointed.

Horrible Service or lack thereof

Was seated immediately at a booth in the bar area (hence the reason for 2 stars) but waited almost 15 minutes without any acknowledgement. The bartender kept looking over but I guess that “wasn’t their job” to help guests seated at the tables in that section. I was waiting and wondering if it would be best to approach to place my order at the bar, but I’m pretty sure that isn’t the standard at a sit down restaurant. Since no one came over and even took my drink order, I took my leave (I’d rather spend my money elsewhere). Even when leaving the host said goodbye and that he hoped I enjoyed my dinner, I told him I didn’t eat because no one ever came over. THIS WAS THE OPPORTUNITY FOR SOMEONE TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. But of course, nothing happened. I’ve been to other locations and received great service, so this post is reflective on this one. Proceed with caution and low expectations for good service.

we had to get are 20 off from the app the food was good I get the steak and she get the shrimp and steak the bread was good we get more bread.

Food good but service not great

When you walk in you are greeted with loud music and cool temps. Both were annoying... The food was good but not the service, We came early but by the time we wanted our check it took another 20 minutes even after asking the person seating customers to call our waiter.

Nice Family Dinner

During our recent vacation, I took the family to this Outback in New Rochelle, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My wife and I shared a ribeye which was done perfectly and tasted great. The sides (salads and sweet potato) were fantastic. The kids various entrees were devoured and enjoyed. My daughter had ribs which I sampled and were very good. Service was excellent - I have been let down at some Outback locations before, but certainly not at this one. Thumbs up!

Amazing Steak & Lobster combination

Even though the grilled Lobster is my favorite, I have to say that the Steak & Steamed combination is great..... you can also combine your steak with an amazing Coconut Shrimps

Steak cooked as ordered

This afternoon, I had lunch here with my parents. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Most importantly, my steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it - medium rare. I know I should expect that, but some places you never get what you ask for.

Fried, Greasy Food

My husband and I received a gift card so we decided to redeem it and treat our children to a dinner out. We sampled some starters, including the pricey bloomin' onion that was soggy and laden with oil. The Kookaburra wings and Volcano shrimp were tasteless and greasy, despite the fact that we specifically requested "hot". The baby back ribs were not falling off the bone delicious and the steakhouse Philly sandwich, nothing to marvel over. Although our server was pleasant, he, unfortunately, couldn't make up for the weighed down feeling of disappointment we all left the restaurant with. Perhaps it was all the fat we ingested or the reality that Outback Steakhouse is no longer a place we will return.
