Great Meals

This is our first visit since the pandemic started. As usual, the food quality was outstanding. We had our usual Outlaw Renegade and Top Sirloin steaks. Each was cooked to perfect, as ordered. Also, the crispy Brussels Sprouts were excellent. The crispiness added another dimension to the sprouts. We felt safe dining at the restaurant. The tables were appropriately spaced and the staff wore masks. The dining area was clean and the staff thoroughly wiped the tables after each use. We arrived at the beginning of the dinnertime and did not have to wait to be seated. By the time we left, the restaurant was fairly crowded and there was a larger amount of customers entering for dinner. Jamie was our server and she performed excellently. Every time she went pass our table she asked if we needed anything. Jamie was very personable.

Wonderful first time experience at Longhorn Streak House!

First time going to Longhorn Streak house in Rochelle Park, NJ. They seated us at Table 13, our lucky number!!! Our server Angel G was great he recommended the 6 oz fillet, which just melted in our mouth. We also ordered the Strawberries & Cream Shortcake and the Molten Lava Cake. The servings sizes where huge and we had to more than half of it home. We will definitely be returning there!

Get a menu and wait 10 minutes to take a drink order; then another 10 minutes to deliver it. We have eaten our appetizer; beer almost empty; server has not been back to take our dinner menu ! Service slow every step of the way...even forgetting to discount our coupon...another 10 minutes.

The worst!

The worst. We were told there was a 40 minute wait and we will get a text when the table is ready. We went to a store nearby to kill some time - 40 minutes is not a short wait! Text came in, we head to the restaurant but hit some traffic. We gave them a heads up by phone that we were a bit late due to traffic. We got there 15 minutes from the time we got the text - traffic on RT 17 - and table was gone! They wanted us to wait another 30 minutes (after already waiting 45 minutes). The manager said we should've waited in the parking lot. Of course, no one told us there was a 10 minute grace period or said wait in the parking lot. Very disappointing experience and a waste of an hour of my time.

Very good steaks at a reasonable price

A busy, casual steakhouse on Rt. 17 in NJ. Food is very good: steaks and ribs. Appetizers: onions and chicken wings were also very good. Atmosphere is very casual and hectic but well worth a stop. Have a steak, it is what they are known for - although the menu has much more.

Wow Longhorn went downhill specifically the Ribs which were fatty

I was out last night with my son and I said, "let me buy you dinner". He said to me "Dad how about Longhorn? I have a craving for those ribs and it has been awhile". I said "absolutely". It was about 5:00 PM and I told my son there would probably be traffic and he responded that it was probably worth it and I agreed. We walk in and I have to say that the hostess well was not very welcoming. Now I realize we all have bad days and what not. If I was the establishment, maybe just maybe I would not want to have someone who is not having a good day great the customers. As it was, she placed us right next to the kitchen which was pretty loud. I asked to move and she said, "I really don't have another server. I have to give you a table. So I agreed. Just rubbed me the wrong way. A few moments later, we were greeted by the server Nikki F and I have to say that she was absolutely fantastic. So incredibly friendly and welcoming. Now that is the person you want to keep in your organization and be the first person that you see when you come through the doors. Not enough positive words to say about Nikki. Really tremendous. Now this is where the story/review goes from what it is to bad. We both ordered a full rack of ribs with our favorite loaded baked potato and a salad. When the ribs came out, wow what a beautiful display. So much so that I grabbed my camera phone and snapped a pic of my very very happy son. He looked like a king ready to have his meal and was so so happy. We started our meal and the first taste was extremely good and as I remembered with that great great barbecue sauce. As we both went into our subsequent bites well. I started to think hmm, they really don't fall off the bone like they used to and wow I just bit into a chunk of fat oh and this piece is pretty tough. We both looked up at each other and my son said, "Dad, I have to say that I think this meat is different than it was before and the quality really has gone down. " I replied, "you literally took the words right out of my mouth. I can't believe it. Sorry I am really disappointed. Wow not sure we are coming back here again. What really sucks is some beancounter probably in corporate decided that this is a way for them to increase profitability." My son said, "well they are going to do it as long as they keep getting people in here." That might all be true however I won't be back. What a shame it really was my go to for ribs now I really have to find another place, probably a non chain maybe a mom and pop.

Better steak places

Was there early on a Saturday night. We both had sirloin steaks which were seasoned with a lot of salt which is unnecessary & not good for those with high blood pressure. The meat was also tough to cut, fork & chew. Salad & bread that accompanied the steak were good as was the baked potato. Also, bathroom was really dirty so I don't think staff checks on it as often as it should. We hadn't been here in at least 20 yrs & do not see the point on returning.

Nice Steak

It is definitely my first choice when I want to eat a good steak, the seasoning is excellent and the cuts of meat are premium. Every time I have a chance I go with my family. They have kids menu and the restaurant atmosphere is nice.

Outstanding Quality

It has been a few years since we ate at Longhorn, and until the other day, we forgot how good the food is. We ordered the 18 ounce Outlaw Ribeye and the 12 ounce New York Strip steaks. Both steaks were outstandingly prepared and cooked. The ribeye was ordered rare and the strip was ordered medium rare. Both were cooked to perfection. The rare had a purple interior and the strip had a reddish pink interior. The ribeye had a bone which gave the steak an additional depth of flavor. Both steaks had perfect marbling. Our server, Sasha, was very good. She was attentive. When we entered the restaurant it was nearly full. By the time we left the restaurant was full with a waiting line inside and outside the restaurant.

Excellent meal on snowy day!

This was one of the best steak that I ever had along with grilled chicken parmigiana. The ceasar salad was one of the best I have ever had. The waiter was great. I will definitely come back to have a great meal again

We went to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday & this was my first time visiting there. The visit was not as good as it could be. The restaurant was not properly staffed to attend to the customers as needed.
