Good food and most of the menu was gluten free. Nice atmosphere, our waitress Desiree was super sweet.

This restaurant receives rave reviews I found the atmosphere and ambiance Stark. Granted you may not be here for that. However at these prices some softer lighting a carpeted floor would make a huge difference. Some sound deadening. The service staff was very good friendly...More

Nice menu, decent atmosphere, good service. Almost everything we had was very good with the exception of the pistachio crusted salmon. It was overcooked, bitter and lacked flavor. The blood orange sauce added nothing to the dish and the coconut rice had no flavor. Also,...More

We ate at Poached Pear with another couple that had dined there previously (and had spoken highly of the restaurant). We weren't disappointed. Service was excellent and the food was terrific. Seafood entrees featured very fresh fish and shellfish. The dining room is comfortable and...More

This was our first visit to the Poached Pear. Everything was really good (butternut squash/sweet potato soup and key lime pie dessert were standouts). But what really impressed us is that they have made a conscious effort to keep the noise down. Dinner Saturday night...More

We have heard about this restaurant since it opened and haven't had the opportunity to visit. Sorry it took us this long. Special birthday Saturday dinner that they honored our reservation. Service was impeccable with our Brazilian server whose name I don't remember. Friendly, knowledgeable...More

While visiting the area, friends suggested we have dinner here. The menu offers many selections, and there were several specialties on Saturday evening. The food was quite good and the servings were quite large. The service was good. Beware, though, that this is a BYOL...More

Finally tried The Poached Pear and enjoyed it tremendously. I am adventurous when it comes to dining at a nice restaurant. I had the crab cakes which I love and these were fantastic. The mushroom appetizer was great if you are into them. The restaurant...More

Casual, it is a nice place. I have seen jeans and tee shirt to nice slacks and collared shirt. Personally, slacks/khaki , collar shirt. Can't go wrong. Just give them a call, no posted dress code that I know of.

Appetizers and salads are between $10 and $16; main dishes are all in the $30s; dessert are $5 - 12. It's a BYOB, so you'll save there. The couple next to us ordered a few appetizers, no main dishes. I love that idea!
