been coming here for years & always enjoyed the food. they have the best crabcakes by far. they have two floors of outdoor dining with covering. the servers are good,it has a bar & is family friendly. also, the prices are fair.
We came here on maybe the final day of the season for the restaurant and it certainly didn't feel that way. The food was great, service was friendly thought a tad inattentive as we waited for drinks and the check a bit longer than preferred...with a 2 year old (they don't like to wait and will drive your other customers nuts haha).
We had the seafood pasta and fish and chips meals. our 2yr old had popcorn shrimp and fries. The pasta, shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked. The sauce was not as thick as you might expect but the flavor is all there. I would not hesitate to get this again. The fish and chips were flakey cod and well seasoned fries. Every bite was fantastic with a splash of lemon. My daughter ate every popcorn shrimp and I tried one as well. It's not a low quality kiddy meal. Everything was tasty. As was the lemonade that we ordered, though we had to stir it up after receiving it.
Definitely a place we will put on our time competing list of places to eat the next time we are in the area!More
The seafood pasta was so watery. The fried shrimp was ok but they didn't give us a lot of coleslaw. The fries were so salty. Their drinks were not good. I recommend CJ's. I thought it was a real seafood place with lobster. You have...to scan the QR code to get your menu! The staff is nice but the food is like microwaved. They also have a nice live band or singer. Out of 5 stars it gets a 2. Come at your own risk.More
My wife and I had planned on celebrating our first anniversary in Wildwood, where we got engaged, but wasn’t sure where we were going to eat yet. I saw the ad for the supper club in the secret garden and made the reservations. Joes put...on a delicious & gorgeous dinner for us in our own private porch in the secret garden and we could not have been happier with the service, food & experience. Special thank you to our waiter Francis and Sharon for the hospitality and treating us so well. We can’t wait to come back!!!More
We decided to try it because of a $20 coupon we had gotten in the mail, we sat on the upper level which had an awesome view. Our server Ashley was so friendly and helpful with recomendations, and our food was so delicious and the...portions were really decent!! We loved the mango cart draught beer which they allowed us to taste before ordering. Live music by a female guitarist with a great voice!! Sorry it took this long to try this restaurant but we will definitely return, prices were good, along with the atmosphere, service and delicious food, it was the entire package for us!!More
We stopped by one evening for a family dinner and I have to say I don't see what all the buzz is about. Way over priced anf food is not that great and the service was really bad i.e. SLOW and the staff was going...to skip over us on the waiting list until we said something to them. We won't reutrn since its plently over other place to spend my money at.More
We visited this establishment on a Sunday Afternoon. They were not crowded and there were plenty of workers on hand. The service was fast, the food was better than expected, but the value is still high priced for what you get. Location is the key...factor here and when you bring that into the equation, it makes it more palatable.
We would recommend this establishment or at least check it out.More
Our family has vacationed in Wildwood every summer for the past 10 years so we witnessed this restaurant’s opening and quickly added it to our “must” list! However, after this summer’s visit, we have removed it permanently. The choice and quality of food has been...decreasing over the past few years (coincidentally, since their chef, Walter J, moved on...). Whereas they used to have delicious pork chops with Cuban spice (spice that you could also buy and take home) and daily fresh, interesting specials (like seared halibut over lobster risotto), they now have a pretty run-of-the-mill menu and mediocre service. I no longer recommend Joe’s Fish. Although its location is great - right off the boardwalk and on Surfside Pier in the heart of the action and rides, you can get much better seafood (and food, in general) at much better prices elsewhere in Wildwood.More
