So my friend and I had been doing to PoC for literally a decade. We were so excited it had outlasted Covid! This lasted about 20 minutes in, when we placed our order and there was no food in sight. Finally, food arrived...about 1/10th of...what we ordered. We politely asked for the rest. No soap. The meat was tough. The seafood was borderline rotten. The sushi was chewy, not in a good way. We said we didn't want to pay for the meal; I felt sick to my stomach. The manager screamed at us, threatened up, and finally called the cops. the cops looked upset, but had to do their jobs. The restaurant extracted our money, but we were starving, sad, upset, and unhappy. Worst restaurant experience in two years.More

This was one of my favorite place pre-COVID, so I was very excited to see it being reopened again. However, my ordering experience today was probably the worst experience I have ever had dining anywhere. I placed a to-go/pick up order online and received an...email confirmation. Since I live about an hour away from POC and need to take toll roads to get there, I wanted to make sure the order is all set. I called in and received a confirmation from the staff that the order will be ready for pick up with terms described in the confirmation email. An hour later, I got to POC and the manager tells me that they would not honor the online order. They tell me that the order is only valid for dine-in. If that was the case, why does the confirmation email has "pick up/to-go" on it? Moreover, why did the staff VERBALLY CONFIRM my order on the phone? I explained that I drove an hour and payed toll fees to get to the restaurant to the manager, and she could not have been less interested in resolving the problem. She simply tells us that the confirmation email is invalid, and they won't honor what's written in the email. So the error is all from the restaurant, but we bear all the cost. The staff did not even acknowledge their error in confirming the order BOTH electronically and verbally. I did not even hear a single "I'm sorry." I drove back in frustration, and this was not how I wanted to spend my Sunday. This treatment is poor and borderline offensive. I understand that COVID has been rough on businesses, but treating customers this way is inexcusable. I would never come back to POC again, and I'll make sure to tell my friends to do the same.More

Went for brunch. Lots to choose from. Crab, sushi, carving station, fried and omelet/pancake station. I found the sushi to be bland, not sure why. The whole crab was good, but bring your own"picking tool" as they have the nut crackers but not the pickers....Was hoping for authentic green tea but they didn't have that. Found that the food wasn't hot enough, the fried wasn't crisp. But, the cheesecake dessert was very good! We were glad we chose to use a groupon for first time visit, but we won't be back. The foos needs seasonings to bring out flavors.More

A friend told me about POC. I was super excited to check it out. My girlfriend and I went there for dinner last night. The place is beautiful. The buffet selections are extensive. I gottta say, we were both pretty disappointed with food. The sushi...is just ok. The carving station meats were pretty good. The miso soup was good. Chicken soup was not good. The lobster bisque was not good. The raw Oysters get a passing grade, but were not that great. The raw clams were not good at all, pretty tasteless. The crabs were exceptionally awful. For $32.99, I don’t know how this place stays in business. To say it’s overpriced is an understatement. We will not be going back nor recommending this place to anyone.More

I was so excited to go to this restaurant which is a buffet. Wanted delicious seafood and sushi. There was copious amounts of sushi, none of which really had much flavor but it looked great and was plentiful. The snow crab legs were small but...good. There was some other kind of crab that was really nasty tasting. There was oysters, muscles and clams on half shell which all lacked any flavor. How is that. There was clams that were steamed in a wonton soup broth. My partner had the meat options, which were not too exciting but I imagine had more flavor than the fish. I saw fried plantains and decided to try for dessert. They were not ripe and I was disappointed. Here is to hoping they put quality over quantity. This was a very crowded large restaurant.More

This place is one of the excellent places for sushi lovers. It also have 5 kind of meat such as skirt steak and prime rib, lamb chops and others. I love the place definitely will go there again

My sister an I went to dinner on a Friday at 9 pm. They close at 10 pm. We went for their lamb chops and steaks. They charge alot for a buffet, but it's worth it as it's due to lamb chops and steaks. When...we got to the steak counter, the man serving said no lamb chops and only ha a piece of dry overcooked steak on the board that was three inches wide for two of us. We asked if he can put more on grill and he said no. We said that's what we came here to eat and are paying for..he said sorry but no more. Another employer heard him and told him to put new one on grill for us. The man got annoyed and did it. When we came back to get it, the chops and skirt steak looked so over burned. I bit into both chops, and they were both frozen. My sisters also was frozen. We both tried the skirt steak...it was not edible...the man must have poured salt all over that it felt as if it burnt our mouth. We went to tell the waitress which advised us that he has done this before..she was upset and told the owner. The owner never came by to apologize and instead gave my sister a bill for $70.00. My sister was nice and left the waitress a tip..we will never come back. Why is that person still working there? That's a problem! How dare they charge a customer after this...what a disgrace!More

Took my sister out since she was having a bad week. We went specificall for their lamb chops and skirt stesk and (the sushi for me) We went late that night but still had one hour before closing. I had a few pieced of sushi...and my sister had seaweed salad since she does not like sushi. We got up and went for the lamb chops and skirt steak. The man said no more. We got upset and told him that us the only resdon we came for. One worker heard us and told him in spanish to make us some since restaurant is still opened for 45 minutes. We complained about him to our server who said not the 1st time. She said something to the manager. We finally went up for the chops and steak. When we bit into the lamb chop, it was still ice cold on the inside and well done on the outside. The manager took it to the owner. We then tried the skirt steak and could not eat it since it tasted like it was loaded with a bottle of salt. I asked for the bill. We were too disgusted by then and really upset.. The server came back and said he was making us fresh lamb chops. We said we wanted to leave, who knows what he would do to our food sibce he was obviously annoyed to make more. When i receieved the check , they gave me a $6.00 discount. That is a slap in the face since they xharge $35.00 per person. Most restaurants would have taken away one meal. That was one expensive seaweed salad i paid for my sister. Shame on them!!!!!! Needless to say, we will not be returning there.More

Very clean restaurant that offers a nice large selection for its buffet. I really enjoyed the coconut shrimp and the skirt steak. Everything I had tasted great and wasn't overcooked. At some buffets, things tend to be a bit on the "chewy" side, thankfully, everything...here was fine. The four others I was with also enjoyed their experience as well. I also appreciated the staff not being overly pushy to get you out of there to turnover their tables. Overall, I had a great experience, lots of food. Only negative, it is on the more expensive end with pricing when compared to other buffets but I think you will enjoy yourself. Give it a try.More

One of the best buffets we have been too. The bad news is that it is on the expensive side but, just for the sushi & sashimi alone may be worth it. They have some great variety...definitely a few steps above the normal buffet. Worth...a visit!More

The brunch is actually very good here. The variety of their buffet is vast and the food is always fresh. I had dinner here only once and is was mediocre. I had my son's graduation party here and we arrived exactly when it opened. We...had a few kids that wanted the chocolate fountain and they refused to put it on. They actually put it on when we were leaving. I was very upset since the desert at this time weren't very good and their ice cream was empty. Brunch on the other hand is very good but the servers who are at the stations can be rude at times. They include the tip when it is more than four people, which I think is too much, especially when the servers really don't do anything but collect a plate and maybe give you water if you can get a hold of one of them. I really do like their brunch and the variety of food offered. I also feel the price for the brunch is really fair. Overall, great place for brunch.More

I have been bringing my family here for my 3 birthdays in a row since they love buffet, especially with crab legs. This time, I'd like to commend the manager who accommodated my request to combine the Local Flavor weekday dinner voucher I purchased together...with the left over POC gift card I bought for our lunch party last Christmas. The voucher fine print says not to be combined with any promo but when I called, the manager graciously allowed it. Establishments with good customer service like this will last in the business. Highly recommended!More
