False information and poor management

I wanted to go to the Golden corral and have prime rib. When I got to the cashier I ask about if there was prime rib that evening and she said yes. When I took my table I asked my weed or where the prime rib was and he told me where it would be. When I got to the buffet I didn’t see it so I asked the guy at the grill station and he told me where it should be and then asked several other people. Finally one of them asked the manager who says there is no prime rib tonight it’s on Saturday. I asked him why the cashier told me there was prime rib that evening when I ask her. He snapped back it’s her first day. So the management’ take is poor training of their employees is on me and I pay for something that wasn’t even available that evening. I emailed the company and got a proper response that they received my message and will get back to me. Weeks later nothing from them at all. Disappointed to say the least. I don’t know if all Golden corral’s are as bad as the one in Las Vegas because I have not had this kind of experience before.

Great Food and Service

I love Golden Corral and try to go to them as I travel the country. This one exceeded my expectations on service. They always came to our table to ask about our food and if we needed drink refills. With the pandemic, they now serve you cafeteria style and it was always so easy and quick to find a server. It seemed the employees here loved their job and serving their customers. I especially loved the prime rib and sirloin.

Always A Treat To Eat At The Corral!!

I have been to both Golden Corral's in Las Vegas. The food is always good and fresh. Clean restaurant and fast servers. When food is gone it is quickly replaced with a fresh batch of food. This is great for people on budgets and Seniors.

Taking advantage-pandemic- raising menu price and lowering food items and quality

Not only did they raise the price $2.00, they cut back on offered items that were available pre-pandemic like the following: mini shrimp at salad bar gone; steak bits/strips gone at salad bar; fried shrimp gone from lunch menu. The fried chicken sucks and taste like fried grease with too much SALT seasoning. They salted the hell out of the mashed potatoes-could hardly eat them! They think that people are stupid and don't care? I will not be back for lunch. The ambience in their is like a circus! You have at minimum of 20 table waiter staff hearding around like cattle by the Manager having meetings in the dining room. Very noisy and unorganized staff. Place really sucks

I has a wonderful meal and Golden Corral Buffet today. The place is clean. There is less crowds not. That is a nice thing . But It must be harder for the staff and company. The food was great and I think even better and fresher then before. The service is just as great. And so many staff members took care of my party that I could only remember one server. Thank you "Rubin" Grade A place to go.

Really disappointed. Food was under par. My favorite was Fried Chicken. Today Chicken was very dry, not a good flavor to it. Dessert was really bad. Cakes were dry, ice cream didn't taste good flavor. No sauce to put on (empty containers or broken). Have always enjoyed eating there but I don't think I'll be back. Pay an extra $13 and get good food..$3.29 was a little much for drink or coffee..sorry Golden Corral but you have gone down hill!

Doesn’t pay there employees when I hired also doesn’t follow procedures!

I was hired in Las Vegas to work at the Henderson store.. so was someone else too. I work one shift and then quit.. cause they don’t follow any protocols.. found out servers are not only servers but runners have to clean bathrooms and dump trash.. and sweep floors and clean buffets line.. was told if I only wanted to take care of guests then I don’t belong there so I quit.. who wants to clean bathroom and serve guests.. they only care about the numbers not guests.. servers not washing there hands .. but turn in my uniform and was never pay for that day I work went 2 locations and they say they call me and never did.. also my co worker work there for 3 days never got pay either turn them over to the labor board.. very unprofessional for corporations!

The fried chicken fire! The catfish fire!! Sweet potatoes fire. It's in a not so good location but if you want another location where you will still see the homeless go to Henderson. They have one out there too. Staff always friendly and nice. Greets every customer with proper greetings. Always nice and respectful. It's the people that come in expecting a 5 star restaurant if you want 5 star go to Caesars palace. Great job Golden Coral I will be back!

The first thing that happened was being greeted by the Cashier LaToya. Wow!!! What a wonderful lady. Great personality and service. Then the table service was on their job cleaning all the time and taking the empty plates. And last the Food. Great choices and clean stations. They really leveled up. The buffets in the casinos really should take a lesson from Golden Coral. Great job.

The only one in Vegas

We didn't realize there was a Golden Corral in Las Vegas until I was looking for one. It is on the far side of town from the Strip, about a twenty minute drive. Take a wrong turning and you visit the homeless of LV along the way so don't go wrong. A great place, as always, we always eat Golden Corral as the food is similar to our diet in the UK, so nothing too extreme, and considerably cheaper than the strip buffets. Good service from the same server every evening. Excellent choice of food, we both like the salads, the steak is good and the hotpot is exceptional. Great place, packed every time we went in, especially during the seniors two hour slot between two and four in the afternoon. I am surprized there is only one GC in Vegas. Great place.

As expected, but cleaner!

We ate here twice, brunch one day and dinner another. Typical Golden Coral food, exactly as we expected although we were impressed with how clean and organized they kept this very busy location. We never had to wait in line, although at the breakfast they kept running out of popular items like bacon and they took a while to be refilled. Once refilled, people would take so much at once it would be empty again in seconds. Clean spacious bathrooms, cheery people clearing tables, lots of parking and just what we needed.

Exception Service at the Golden Corral

This is a statemen of appreciation for my favorite server at the Golden Corral in Henderson, NV. While I recognize several servers that deserve high praise for their exception customer service, I want to give special and well-deserved mention here to Alicia. I have been frequenting the Golden Corral now for well over three years. While I could easily write much about the food that keeps me coming back, my intention here is to focus on the importance and priority Alicia displays to customer service. She always greets new customers when they come in and always gives them a “Thank you so much” as they leave. In between these two times, she is very attentive to their every need, frequently asking if there is anything else she can get them while clearing away used dishes. Just sitting back and watching her is like seeing poetry in motion. Seriously, the Golden Corral is lucky to have such a conscientious worker. She’s been with the Sunset location since it opened and has proven herself to be a wonderful asset to the business. She has developed quite a loyal following, like myself, who come to support her as well as enjoy a good meal. Alicia is certainly a great role model for other servers to follow after. There are many other servers deserving of high praise, but it was my intention here to write about the lovely and cheerful Alicia.

A much better deal than the buffets on the Strip

We were in Vegas again, so we swung by the Golden Corral for a hearty dinner. Sure, it's not all fancy & glittery like the buffets on the Strip, but the food is superb, and the price is right! We fed (stuffed!) a family of 8 for under $150.

Can't give a ZERO rating Went yesterday 8/19/21. PROS: not real crowded, husband loves the fish CONS: Dirty floors not only under table, but through out the entire restaurant. Children 3 and up running through restaurant, playing with the food at the buffet. Adults not paying attention to their children. Saw a 7-9 year old taking food from buffet and throwing it his younger brother next to him. Restrooms are FILTHY, un-flushed toilets with feces , Feces on floor, Dirty toilet paper thrown in corners of stall. Maybe time to call Health Inspector

Wonderful to get to go to a buffet again!

My brother and I had lunch here during our visit to Las Vegas. It took a moment to get used to having the workers serve us at each station, instead of helping ourselves, but it worked. The food was delicious! Kudos, Golden Corral!
