After a stroll down the strip we decided to grab some food and on the recommendation of one of our group, chose Bubba Gump. Made our way up stairs following the smiley stickers (take your time and check out some of the Forrest Gump themed memorabilia) and were seated quickly in a themed booth. Drinks orders taken promptly, two of the group opted for alcohol in souvenir glasses which were a nice touch. Food orders submitted, 3 burgers and a surf and turf - all came out within 20 minutes, presented well and tasted great. Value for money here was solid, approximately $25 pp including alcoholic drinks so won’t break the bank despite a good strip location. Highly recommended if you want simple and quick eats at a good price and don’t want to waste your evening sat in a restaurant. Welcoming, friendly and fun.

Run Forrest, Run!

The location is beautiful, with nice sitting outside available where you can take in Vegas. The menu is a standard Bubba Gump menu, as I understand; service is on par with other locations. I like going there when visiting Vegas mostly for the location, and because I like Bubba Gump.

Big difference in Vegas

I visited two restaurant Bubba Gump. On LA and Vegas. The difference in food was huge. In Vegas everything seemed overfried and even more unhealthy then it really is. We had to wait extremely long for the food and it was not tasty at all. Maybe bad day of a chef, but next time I will think twice before I go to Bubba Gump.

My wife and I dined here because we were given a gift card for Landrys Restaurant Group. Big mistake choosing Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. next to Planet Hollywood. My wife ordered a margarita. It took 20+ minutes to arrive to our table. I started with a cup of Clam Chowder that was very good. We shared the Sampler Platter with Hush Puppies, Spinach and Cheese Dip, Chicken Tenders and Fried Shrimp. YUK on all of it! We also split a Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries that was mediocre at best. Our server was friendly.

Over Priced, Over Rated, Over Cooked

We expected more from this chain. Best thin is the location, right on the strip. Service from Julian T was good, he did respond quickly when we had the sign up. The Mango Pineapple Smoothie was very tasty, but after that things went south. Wife had the Shrimp New Orleans - it arrived seriously over cooked, shrimp chewy and tough, we sent it back, 2nd attempt better but not by much, half the shrimp done very nicely, the rest over done again! I had the stuffed shrimp, they were good, but nothing that would make me come back again. Time for the chef to go back to shrimp cooking school!

First, I'm not sure if there is one or more Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. restaurants in Las Vegas, but we were at the one near the New York New York complex. My husband and I ordered one meal, Grilled Seafood Trio. We ordered with one server, but someone else brought us our meal. The two kinds of shrimp were tough and the meal came out lukewarm. We enjoyed the piece of flounder, albeit lukewarm. When we were finished, our server came out and asked us how our meal was, so I told her. She then sent someone else to our table and this person wanted to know what the problem was. Both said they would speak to the kitchen staff, then brought us our check, which was with tip was $34.61. We were unable to speak to our server about the meal because she disappeared and we didn't have time to report it, since we were headed to the airport directly after our meal. No one offered us a discount of any kind. I wrote on the management receipt how unhappy we were. For $34.61, I expect a hot and well-prepared meal. We will not visit any Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. restaurant again.

New Year Party @ Bubba Gump

We were in Vegas for New Year’s Eve for the first time and spent a lot of time researching the ideal place to celebrate. Bubba Gump seemed perfect. And it was. $125 each. Most other places were in excess of $200 each. Started at 9pm and finished at 1am. Price included our own table (no sharing), buffet food, unlimited drinks and a goodie bag each. There was a DJ on the balcony overlooking the strip. We were able to watch the midnight fireworks on the balcony with a champagne toast. This is the perfect evening for those wanting to celebrate NYE but without the massive crowds and cramped overpriced parties.

The servings are generous, different from the ones shown on the menu, 1 order is good for 2, we ended up bringing home leftovers and still good for another meal. I ordered fish and chips, delicious, with tasty chips. My hubby ordered shrimps, also generous serving. Service was excellent

They had me at Lunch Specials

I haven't been to a Bubba Gump's in over a decade. Walked in on a whim and they were virtually empty. Made a reservation for "now" and was seated outdoors overlooking the strip. They have lunch specials. I think it was ten items for $13.99. I chose the fried shrimp. The shrimp was tasty. Fries were good as well. I am not sure if the Pepsi is included in the price or the waitress forgot to charge me for it. Either way it was a pleasant surprise. You probably won't find a quality lunch with a better view on the strip.

Run away from this place as fast as you can. I've been to many other Bubba Gump's locations and the food is usually decent. It's a chain restaurant so I not expecting 5 star quality, but am expecting decent food. The food I had at this location was absolutely vile. Calimari, that looked and smelled like it had been in the freezer for months, shrimp that smelled like vinegar, and the service was atrocious. With literally dozens of other options within a 3 minute walk there's no reason to even give this spot a second look

First time ever eating at Bubba Gump and everything was fantastic. Our server was new and she was attentive and friendly. The fish and chips are huge portions and the shrimp dinner was cooked perfectly. I'm glad we gave it a try. Lots of cool souvenirs downstairs in the gift shop.

First Visit, Last Visit!

I have always wanted to go to a Bubba Gump Restaurant. We came here on an October Sunday about 3 pm. The wait for a table was about 20+ minutes, due to Covid. Jon was our server, friendly and efficient service! We ordered the fish and chips, and boneless chicken wings. Food was hot and tasty, but too greasy. Fish portion was small. Overall, service very good, food so-so.

Bargain basement considering so many other seafood buffets etc in Vegas.

The restaurant is on the upper floor at the road junction at planet Hollywood. The whole place looks tried and in need of a make over. Even the staff were a mish mash of clothes ( no uniforms) not much atmosphere, it was more about bums on seats , get them in - out, next customer. The food was as expected and the mahai mahai was good, a very small portion for the money. This is not our type of place now we’ve eaten in here. So we won’t be back. One of the major hotels all you can eat sea food buffets are 100 times better in better surroundings.

Asked for an outside table and were told we would have to order food to sit there. Not a problem. Ordered drinks and an appetizer as requested. Ordered water as well. Service was extremely slow! Had to order both the water and the appetizer at least twice. Three different waitresses, very confused ladies and a multitude of excuses from each. Two quite friendly, the third not at all. Had to go to the desk to pay the bill!! They did credit the appetizer as even they realized what terrible service was supplied. Would really question going back!

We had the most awful experience here. Customer service was awful. Ordered a drink and 20 Minutes later hadn’t received and we canceled it. Waitress never checked on us or refilled sodas. Food came out hard and cold. Obviously it had been cooked long before and sat under a heat lamp. When we asked for food to be taken off of ticket because we could not eat they said they couldn’t do that. They ended up taking 1/2 of food off of ticket. Never once did anyone say they were sorry. Worst experience ever.
