We went there as a party of 3 for a business dinner. The marsala was very good as was the soup. We also had a spinach bread appetizer that had a different taste to it, so we didn't eat it. Otherwise, we really like the restaurant. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Our waitress of very bubbly and fun to be around.

My friend and I had been to the Huskers football game, they lost. My friend had been here before. As we entered the upstairs area was very busy and loud. The nice hostess let us know the downstairs quieter bar area serves the full menu! Great! We chose to sit in the back up against the wall so we could watch the people and the bartender!! We had great service! Our first time ever having Slovenian wine! Pinot Grigio, lite purple and delicious! We asked for a suggestion of food with the wine? He recommended the platter of Shrimp, Lamb and Chicken on rice! We ordered both types of sauces on the side and Naan bread. Sharing all of this was perfect! Food was hot and delicious! Service was fantastic! Atmosphere was very nice! We will be back!! Cheers!

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Lincoln. I have dined there for years, since they opened. My last visit to the Oven in the Haymarket had great food, great service, location and ambiance. They have an incredible wine list. BUT, if you want to buy a reasonably priced bottle of wine, let's say $25 to $30, this isn't the place for you. Least expensive full 750 ml bottle was about $44, and it quickly rockets upwards from there. This is absolutely insane for this town. I was in London (one of the most expensive cities in the world) last year, and most mid priced restraints will be glad to sell you a $30 bottle of wine. There is no reason the Oven can't sell you a $30 bottle of wine as everywhere else in Lincoln seems to be able to do. Cocktails are a bit pricy also, but very good. Unless you are on an expense account or have very deep pockets, I recommend the tap water or beer with your meal if you are dining here.

I have been eating at this restaurant for well over 30 years. Last visit was on Friday for lunch, service was poor and slow and the garlic naan was some of the worst I have ever tasted. Dry, artificial butter and garlic powder. Waiter did not disagree. Naan came on a basket platter that looked soiled and broken. Really seeing a decline in this restaurant, used to be one of my favorites!

I tried this restaurant twice in order to prove myself right that I was not wrong the first time and it was not a mistake that I ordered a wrong dish. First time I ordered chicken Hyderabadi biriyani. These guys don't even know what Hyderabadi is actually, the taste was totally crap, they had just put sweetened nuts and almonds to show off. The rice was not basmati and the taste, just don't ask. Horrible. If you are an Indian and eating at this place then I pity you. Well the second time, I ordered chicken Korma. I don't have words to describe how bad they made that dish. Dreadful, horriying and rancid. It seemed like they had put chicken pieces in potato curry with lots of tomatoes mashed in it. What they served me I can make it in 5 minutes. Oh my god, as a north Indian coming from the capital and have tasted the Indian delicacies at some of the best restaurants in the world, I am shocked to see how this restaurant is running in the first place. Someone please call Kitchen Nightmare! Americans eating at this place, I pity them.

Came here for lunch today. I’ve been here 4 times previously. I’ve had the mixed tandoor grill which is okay. The Goa sauce was solid the first time I’ve had it. This time not so good. The place lacks consistency. It was bland. My partner mentioned the same with her meal. We tried using a passport card and the waiter gave us an attitude saying we could only use the physical card and not the app on the phone. She went and asked her manager after we insisted we would be able to use the app. She came back with our adjusted bill and didn’t apologize at all. She was mean. I couldn’t believe it. I’m not sure why she was like that. I won’t be going back to this location ever. My partner mentioned the place is going down hill fast. I’m sure it trickles down from management.

Visited bath for 1 night stayed at hotel z. Just across in the square was a pizzeria the oven. Even though it was busy it took only 5 mins max for us to be seated in a friday night wothout a booking. From beginning to end staff were friendly and helpful with a smile. A server Tamara was very helpful and suggested what would best suit us after my partner described what she was looking for. Food was delicious and was out in less than 10mins. We would recommend this place 100% cozy intermate and welcoming.

We 3 ladies were in town for the Huskers Spring Game. 2 of us have been here before and LOVED it!! So we returned!! We had made a reservation for downstairs. We had to wait for our table, it was very busy!! It was great to see that!! We sat on some comfy chairs, ordered some cocktails and enjoyed watching people and sipping on our beverages!! Our server was great! The sommelier was great! Our food was delicious!! Prices are reasonable! We enjoyed everything about this place:AGAIN!!

A couple of years ago, they hired the most awesome chef they have ever had and the food was superb. Not anymore. I do not know who is charge of the kitchen but that person certainly know nothing about Indian food. Everything tastes about the same which is jalapeños and tomatoes. Period. You can order a dish from the northern or southern parts of the country and it will essentially taste the same. I have been a costumer for several years, but this went downhill big time.

Fanciest looking Indian restaurant I’ve been to. Located in beautiful downtown Lincoln, Nebraska. I had way too much food and it was all excellent: the spiced tea, the samosas (best I’ve ever had), the chana masala (also best I’ve ever had), the mulligatawny soup (excellent!) and the aloo gobi. Excellent service and the prices were very reasonable (like $50 for two people and all this food).

Six people in the restaurant had their winter coats on and there were only 9 tables in the place. I requested twice for it to be a little warmer. Our server said "yeah it's cold" and the other person said he would ask but nothing changed. I couldn't wait to leave.

Was very excited to have Indian food while visiting Lincoln as we frequent Indian restaurants in Omaha. I was not impressed with the food. Lacked flavor. The soup was very flavorful but the main dishes just wasn't what I was hoping for. The atmosphere was great, but the food was meh.

We went to the Oven on 70th & Pioneers Sunday night. From the time we got there (and were seated quickly) to the time we finished it was nearly two hours. There were two servers and one hostess trying to accomodate everyone. Finally, another server showed up at about 6:30, but we waited nearly an hour to get served and get our appetizer, then another half hour for our main course. The food was fine, but overpriced. This is unacceptable. Get more staff!

We had good service and a nice atmosphere. My husband really liked his entree and soup. I, in turn, found the chicken and naan dry and lacking spice. I would consider returning if I ordered something that came with a sauce.

I stopped by to get two entrees to take home which is 100 miles west of Lincoln. When I got home, there was no lamb bhuna and the chicken tikka korma had NO CHICKEN!!!! Not even one morsel of chicken! They also forgot the papadum that I had ordered. The take home message for this place for takeout? Check and double check your order. This was so so disappointing and frankly just pathetic.
