Had a group lunch here for 12 people, service and staff were attentive and accommodating such as individual checks, individual needs and wants, food arrived timely and the food was excellent. We will be back. Great menu great choices

Went here for lunch on a Saturday, around 2 pm. There was a basketball game going on so the place was fairly empty. We were seated right away and the waiter was quick to get our drinks and take our order. Ordered the Red Onion ring appetizer, don't do it! Tasted okay but was not worth the $8+ price tag. Then our order got dropped so it was quite a wait for us to get our main courses, there were 6 of us. Finally received our food and I have to say it was delicious, the burgers were definitely 5 star. One other thing, be sure and look over your ticket when it comes, we were running a bit late because of the food delay and I did not pay close enough attention. Don't know if the tip was already added or what but realized later that I shelled out way too much for what we ordered, that's on me though. I would definitely go back again.

Yummy food and nice dog friendly patio. We stopped in on Tuesday afternoon around 3 pm. Hubby ordered a full leaded jacket. A strange concoction of egg, burger, bacon, onions, jalapeños, fries, all sitting on top of a cinnamon roll. I guess it's a nebraska dish. He got thru half of it and said it was tasty. The other half for lunch tomorrow. I ordered the club with fries, also good. Would definitely return. Haystack area is nice area too.

Great burgers & Onion rings

Had the Raspberry Beret burger. It has jerk-ginger peanut butter & raspberry-jalapeño jelly on it. Treat for the taste buds. Red onion rings with homemade local brown ale batter. Crispiest I’ve ever had

Great Service and Food.

Great customer service. Really great food. The menu seems odd but these dishes and food combinations were paired on purpose to create unusual and surprisingly good flavor profiles. We ordered the LB mac and cheese with chicken added, the Ciao Bella Leadbelly with slaw on the side, and some burger patties for a meat based eater in our group. All were really delicious. Enjoyed our meal outside, wonderful people watching in the Haymarket district, highly recommend.

Such a great place to visit

We were passing through Lincoln NE and Leadbelly’s recommended to us. What a find. ! Located in the Haymarket District, Leadbelly’s has a unique menu with food and drinks that are worth exploring. the smoked mac and cheese was awesome and even the half order left enough for dinner. They have a very nice patio which is dog friendly and the service was quick and excellent. Would definitely return!

Food was a bit different

Nachos with pork were great and had lots of fresh jalapeños. We should have stopped there. My group ordered 2 burgers and a cheesesteak type sandwich. One ate all of burger and said it was good, other said the ‘gravy’ and jam on burger gave it a different flavor…so maybe stick to classic burger unless u like different. Cheesesteak sandwich had way more cheese than meat…maybe too much cheese. I could only eat half. Server was attentive and place was well kept. We left feeling like we had lead in our bellies.

Excellent service, great lunch spot, GF options

Sopped in for lunch while visiting Lincoln. Food was great, restaurant was very clean, staff was excellent. Many Gluten Free options for Celiac sufferers. GF hamburger buns tasted great. Made from rice flour. Access menu using cell phone and pointing camera to code. Menu limited due to covid, but still plenty of options. Dine in, carry out, curbside pickup available. No paper menus. Burgers were excellent, as were the fries, and drinks. Price is reasonable.

Tasty food and an Outside Patio

Our first time in Lincoln and our friend took us for lunch to Leadbelly. We had sandwiches which were all very good. Our service was quick and we didn't feel any pressure to leave quickly. I had the Tuscan Panino and loved the taste! The patio gave us physical distance from other diners and it was so fun people watching from this elevated location.

Fresh new take on the hamburger.

The hamburgers are excellent. I had the Key West burger with tequila brazed pork on top of the patty. It was different and very tasty. We also ordered California Dreaming and the Magic Mushroom. All were ample amount of food and tasty. Meals were hot. The tap beer was cold and quite a variety.

To start off, we were seated all the way in the back, inside the old train car. It was just a boring, empty space with a loud group there with us. And it was hot; the A/C in the main restaurant didn’t make its way into the train car. The acoustics amplified the noise, which was already loud. They didn’t have a single decent beer on tap. So that’s the bad. The good, is that the food was actually decent and once we left the restaurant, we got to see the outside of the train car, which was pretty cool. I wouldn’t go back, but it was an interesting one-time experience.

Unique, Delicious, and Different

My kids chose this spot from a Google Review and they made an excellent choice; it was AMAZING! The food was unique and delicious; the atmosphere was buzzing. Highly recommend the Dirty Pickle Martini (seriously, so good!).

Excellent burgers

Wonderful and pleasant place. We were sitting outside on a warm September evening. Mainly burgers (“Leadbelly’s”), of different varieties. Friendly and cheerful service. Oddly, no question, how one wanted it done, but it was just great anyways and well prepared. I had the “Wake Up Call” Leadbelly Burger with a double patty plus fries, and that was plenty of food. A Kros Strain Fairy Nectar to wash it down: tasty.

Great burgers, great food

We very much enjoyed a delicious meal at LeadBelly's. Absolutely loved the Poutine. The gravy is so good with cheese curds and bacon. Yummy! Went great with a nice cold beer. Then moving on to the burgers. Your choice of patty, I had the Raspberry Beret. He had the California Dreaming. It was fantastic. I would definitely recommend. Can't wait to go back and try the Mac and cheese.

Name of the Place is Spot On

Get there early! We arrived about 11:45 and there were not many people in the restaurant. When we left an hour later there was waiting at the door. I had the Smoked Mac & Cheese and my wife had the Peanut Butter and Siracha burger. Both were great! Was definitely filling!
