This was our first time here. We went because a friend of my wife told us it was great. Well, it is! We had no trouble getting in as there was no wait. We were seated and given water immediately. Our server came over shortly...after that and took our order. I tried their Spanish omelette and my wife had blueberry pancakes. I was presented with a very good folded omelette that was loaded with meat, peppers and onions and their homemade hot sauce and It was served with a side of hash browns that were definitely homemade and choice of toast. My wife said her pancakes were very good and they were quite large loaded a lot of berries both inside and on top of them. A definite place to return to and we will soon.More

We ate here twice on our trip. The snickers hot chocolate was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything we got was delicious.

Great friendly service! For a pancake house, we were underwhelmed by the pancakes and French toast. The pancakes weren’t memorable and lacked much flavor. The French toast was very bready and tasted more like toast than French toast. The thing that was the most disappointing...was the cinnamon roll. It was dry and tasted like the icing was just powdered sugar and water. We got it in a to-go container because of an allergy. We each took a bite and threw it away. The good of the food- the omelet that I ordered was great (after adding some salt and pepper) and it was filled with ingredients. Besides the cinnamon roll, nothing was terrible; just not exceptional either. Generous hot chocolate serving.More

Recommended to us by the staff at the One Horse Motel, with good reason! The wait was expected to be 45 minutes, but it was more like 15 for the 2 of us. Hefty portions, good food, friendly staff, gorgeous atmosphere, decent prices. A must...for eating in West Yellowstone.More

We decided to give this place a try as it had good ratings. We want for breakfast and we were very satisfied. We came around 7:30AM and thought we’d have to wait but they had a place for us almost right away. We both had...the pancakes and pigs in a blanket. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. She brought maple and boysenberry syrup and we had both. The pancakes were big and fluffy, cooked just right. Give this place a try but go early. It’s popular.More

After 2 days of Yellowstone touring and hiking we were looking for a family restaurant and this one popped up in a high rating for the area we were in. It closes at 2:00 pm and we were seated around 1:00 after a long wait....The best we had was the chicken fried steak. Everything else was unseasoned and under cooked. That includes their pancakes, eggs, and hash browns.More

The Running Bear serves up wonderfully tasty cinnamon rolls. The wait staff and kitchen are very attentive. I think the kitchen ventilation system creates an apparent background noise.

Lovely warm ambiance with great breakfast. No wonder you usually have a lot of people waiting patiently to enjoy it!

One of the best restaurants we tried in West Yellowstone! Waited about 45min to get in, but it was worth it. Server was super nice, even while running around crazy busy. Best coffee we had on the whole trip. Hot apple cider was delicious. Lots...of breakfast options, everyone was happy!More

Just average breakfast here. The biscuits and gravy were left wanting. Watery gravy with little flavor. Pancakes were probably the highlight of breakfast along with the banana nut cappuccino.
