This place recently opened so it has been very busy, but fortunately at about 5pm on a Friday night we waited less than 5 minutes for a table. The place is a little loud as it has that open ceiling concept and nothing to really absorb the sound, but it does have a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Our waiter, Andy, was great. He was knowledgable on the food and beers and very friendly. We were there during happy hour so we each got an 8" pizza which you can choose whether you want red or white sauce and one topping for $5. We also got this stuffed cheese bread to share as an app, also $5. Then to finish we shared a beeramisu, which was ok. I had a peanut butter beer not listed on their website that surprised me how much I liked it. My husband had a beer with subtle apple notes that he really enjoyed. They change it up and have limited releases that you can't buy on local store shelves. You can even buy beers there to take home. We will definitely be back.

We have now been here 4 times inside and once curb side pick up during the pandemic. Every visit has been spot on 100% and incredibly delicious. Last night Ashton was our server and she was very attentive, sweet, and took great care of us. The small house salads were great and huge! The pizza is always amazingly cooked just right with no special instructions required. As in my last review the owners gambled on bringing to Lee's Summit but won big time with this venture. I cannot think of one thing to offer a negative remark on here. I usually do not say many bad things about other venues but will this go round to help other consumers. Stay as far away from Minskys Lee's Summit. They shouldn't even unlock their doors daily for the horrible food and service. Save your money and frustration trust me.
Good job Martin City! See you soon!

OK, I am arguably a fan! I was at the first opening day of MCBC pub in Martin City. I have been to all the locations except Overland Park and go pretty regularly. We go with two other couples fairly regularly. Service is nearly always excellent and occasionally just very good. Obviously so training has gone into staff. The only complaint I could ever make, which is just personal preference (as a creature of habit), is that they have many seasonal beers and new creations. Just when I find one I really love, they discontinue it.
The only drawback I have found, is that it is pretty noisy for older people with hearing issues. Each time we go we are satisfied with food and libations, and comparing the bills to other places we go, we get better food and beer for a lot less money!
Kudos to ownership for keeping this place fresh with ideas, clubs, food and new beers. Only suggestion? More dark beer varieties with some always available staple favorites like Alchemy (without vanilla)!

Since they opened, I've been stuck on the steak wrap, because it is so darn good. I've had a few appetizers, like the bruschetta, cheese bread, salad, wings during that time, but my main had always been the wrap. I've even had the leftover pizza and it was spot on.
However, last night I ordered the italian grinder. HOLY SMOKES! Loaded with fresh, delicious meat and toppings and it blew my mind. There is nothing around here that could compare to the fresh bread, quality and flavor of the sandwich.
Service, even with masks on, includes a smile and a sense of humor. Beer and other drinks are always excellent and a reasonable price. This place is a winner and we are beyond lucky to have them in our community.

The pizza was horrible and they charged me an extra $4 for a small 8 inch cauliflower crust which is the most expensive I’ve seen so far. My husbands meatball sandwich had roasted onions but more like raw onions. I will never eat here again .

Tried it the first time around the holidays with family and it was good enough to come back, but I think we got caught in the holiday rush.
We have been back twice in February and this place is our new favorite.
We come for the food rather than the beer.
The pretzels and mustard/cheese dip is a must order every time.
We've had one of the italian meat pizzas and a ham and pineapple pizza and the italian meat pizza was one of the best I've ever had anywhere.
Can't wait to try more of their pizzas and order more pretzels and mustard!!
We will be back!

Three of us had dinner on the patio at MCB on a Monday evening in June. Our waitress was very efficient and courteous. I had the meatballs appetizer and the brussel sprouts appetizer. Both were good. I ordered the small portion of the brussel sprouts. It was huge; I could only eat half. I tried the Lee's Summit lite beer and the blonde ale; both were good. It was our first trip to this location. We love the other MCB locations too.

Martin City Pizza & Taproom is now live on DoorDash, UberEats, GrubHub and Toast for online ordering and delivery!
Love their menu variety and plentiful serving sizes for a great value! The Cobb salad is insane, the Charcuterie board is out of this world and my favorite pizza is the Chicken Spanakopita.
The Martin City beers are always great along with full bar, but the extensive wine selection is truly impressive! I've dined in and the restaurant has a nice local, approachable vibe.
The service was top notch and team members are very friendly.

We were a huge group and we only had one waitress but she was extremely efficient and friendly. Our food came out exceedingly fast for such a large group of 25 people. Prices on the lunch special were reasonable. Large menu selection. Delicious food. And the espresso bar was a plus.
All and all a great experience. I would come back with friends.
