Nice dry reds which is always a surprise. We’re met at the door and shooed into the tasting room immediately. The host was knowledgeable but must have been in a speed talking contest. Nice place with a variety of wines to meet anyone’s taste.

We wanted a light lunch and decided to try the winery as normally they have great food. The salads were good as were the wines but nothing more then average. No bread or crackers served and they just don't seem to really be in the...business of doing a lunch- more wanting folks to do wine tasting and drinking at the barMore

We came in for a wine tasting and were a bit surprised at the $15 fee for trying 5 wines, and not generous pours either. That works in California, but most areas not known for wine are usually less. The wines were good, and had...the charge been $5 we would have purchased two tastings and tried ten between the two of us. We did like what we tried and we bought a bottle. Usually when you buy a bottle, the tasting fee is waived, but not here. So we do winery visits fairly often, and St. James was pretty much an average winery. Not bad, but not one we'd probably revisit. Matt was our server and he was friendly and knowledgeable.More

I went to stone hill as a child and always was excited for the day I’d get to come, and have a similar experience that I did when I went with my parents. I was severely dissatisfied and disappointed that you are not only limited...to five wines on the list of almost 20, but they CHARGE you for the wine tasting even when you buy two bottles of the branson select! HORRIBLE experience! I will NEVER EVER be back, and will gladly drive the distance to stone hill to give my family the experience I had as a kid.More

Hannah was very knowledgeable and helpful during our tasting. We also had lunch here and enjoyed the cauliflower crust pizza outdoors on the patio. Overall an excellent experience!
