Last went here in 2019 and still thinking about the breakfast I had here. I had a stressful morning, (awake since 4am) so I thought I would treat myself. Whitewashed walls with large front window made a lovely bright and airy surround. Some pallet boxes hanging on the wall displaying glassware and bottles gave it a casual air and helped along with the young friendly and smiley staff. At the time, the menu had a kale centric menu so decided to design my own. For $22, I had the marinated mushrooms, slow roasted balsamic tomatoes, smoked salmon and avocado and haloumi. My drink of watermelon, apple and strawberry cost another $9. I enjoyed it very much but it is the fresh avo and especially the cheese that I remember, I have had a few haloumi's but this one was just not charred in the right places but juicy, chewy and just the right amount of salt vs oil. And a year on, I am still thinking of this breakfast.

We love Little Lefroys. It starts with the best coffee in Fremantle (big call but I stand by it), and ends with creamy scrambled eggs on spectacular ciabatta toast. We come here at least once a week and we are always spoiled by the service, we enjoy the quiet time before the crowd comes at 8am, and the fact that we have plenty of room to spread out our newspapers.

In an area with almost unlimited cafes and restaurants this is a gem. It has an attractive decor and very friendly service. Parking on the street was easy to find when we went there for a late breakfast and the scrambled eggs were sensational - we added a field mushroom and avocado to our order. We'd love to return.

Came here for breakfast as lots of choices and very different to the breakfast selection in most English cafes! I let one of the waiting staff know I was sitting outside but it did take a while to come and take my order and it certainly wasn't busy. I guess it's probably all part of a more chilled out vibe. I chose the pumpkin toast with poached eggs and hollandaise. It was a good sized serve and well presented and I liked the addition of the dukkha. However it did taste a little bland which was disappointing, maybe it's because they have to take all the unhealthy ingredients out! Overall nice place to sit and watch the world go by and would give them another try.

This cafe is average at best. I had read all the reviews and expected something fab. It wasn’t. I had the Pumpkin bread with eggs, spinach and pesto......tasteless. My chai was nice but extremely overpriced at 7.50. My husbands milkshake was 9.00 and nice but for the amount he received incredibly overpriced. Service wasn’t overly friendly. Would I go back again? No....there are lots more cafes I would try.

I like going to outdoor cafes and playing my guitar and singing songs. I do this over the country. I buy food and beverage and tip the staff before I get down to playing acoustic music. I rarely have issues with management or other customers about the entertainment I provide with no charge. It creates a good atmosphere. I notice that the customer numbers usually increase when there something going on that doesn't cost a thing and is not intrusive. I get the occasional complement and even people insisting on giving money for my efforts, money which I leave behind as a tip to the cafe staff. I don't need it and I am not busking for a living. Just making nice music and enjoying the reactions of people around me. Children really get a kick out it! Anyway, long story short, on this beautiful Sunday morning in Fremantle, Perth, Western Australia, I got myself a coffee from the cafe and got to work. After about an hour and half and finishing my last song, the owner comes up and says that I could not stay for more than an hour! Now, there was plenty of seating still and no one was complaining, instead people were coming in to enjoy the music and vibe. I think the issue was something else, but the owner could not tell me exactly what it was instead staring at me silently until his friend sitting nearby got up to stand over me and explain that the owner was a 'good businessman'; like that had anything to do with the whole situation. Said he had the right to deny me any more seating which was obvious. My point is, good business sense would dictate that if customers were coming in because of the atmosphere created by a live music playing outside, not costing a thing for the business and not creating a nuisance, as a 'good businessman' I be happy and maybe even offer a beverage or even a meal as happens in some other places I frequent. Well, needless to say, I won't be spending money and time at this cafe again. Plenty of other, more muso friend and smarter care operators around!

We were here on the new year's day. Walked in feeling excited for some food and left this place with a huge disappointment! The coffee was good and that was it! Don't open a cafe on a public holiday when you are not capable to serve. I can tolerate a long wait but that sad looking Salmon Benedict without hollandaise sauce for $26 is appalling and I couldn't believe it when I saw the cheese omelette. It's like prepared by a 2 year old and charged $20 for that? No excuse for being understaffed and also charging full price for that sort of food (inferior and imperfect) plus 15% holiday surcharge!

It was good to see you this place so busy on a very wet day after the relaxation of the strictest Covid restrictions. Our welcome was friendly, and we were assured they would provide our preferred lunches. My companion’s salmon bagel was delicious. He was well into it while I was still awaiting my toasty. Then the very friendly maitre d’ came to tell us that my toastie was unavailable. This was my only possible option , so we had to leave it at that. ( It would have been preferable to have been informed before my mate’s meal arrived. Then we could have explored other options.)

A rare treat to a birthday breakfast was disappointing. Poached fruit with the coconut chia pudding and mixed seeds and buckwheat sounded great, but was in fact undercooked halves of apples on a bed of seeds topped by 1 tsp of chia pudding. Really? On the up side coffee was good. Service was so so. No water offered or anywhere in sight. Left disappointed and will not be visiting again.

Lovely bloody Mary to start! Nice atmosphere and great service! Food is fairly priced for the area, however, my only complaint was that the food was lacking a bit of love/flavour. We ordered the sweet potato fritter special with quinoa, greens, beetroot and hummus and the pork Benny. The portion of the fritters with other components was a little underwhelming, and the whole dish was a bit bland (could have done with a sauce/dressing to tie it all together rather than the hummus on the side). The Benny was much the same, with the pulled pork and hollandaise being a little bland and mushy/wet, but the poached eggs were lovely and runny which was a bonus 🙂 The food wasn't BAD by any means, but just lacking - maybe some more seasoning/sauce and some love would go a long way. Everything else about it is on point 👌 will give it another go soon.

Place his become very disappointing , had to clean my own table (it wasn’t busy ) when ordered got over charged which they did nothing about ! , Two people standing idle behind the counter one waitress doing all the work . As far as I know it’s changed ownership or management some months back and it’s gone down hill from there . Use to really like this little cafe

Visited LL's today with 3 other family members for a 1pm booking. General consensus = give it a BIG miss.!! Average prices for much less-than-average meals. May be better for breakfast but I ain't goin' back to test it. 1 star from 10.

We had the curry of the day - it was Lamb and really delicious with a lovely amount of sauce. The rice was cooked superbly, light fluffy every grain separated. That is skillful😋 coffee is good and the service is excellent - one of our favourites💕
