Good venue with plenty of seating, with unbeatable river views. The Raffles has a decent happy hour. The Wednesday night half price pizza special is good value, however the pizza’s a pre-cooked and when they are served to you the pizza, the cheese on top of the pizza has already solidified which is quite disappointing. If the pizza was fresh out of the over, it would have been quite nice.

Seafood Tortalini was fabulous as was the baked brie with truffle. The main I ordered was Caesar Salad but was the worst I have ever had! cold Hard Boiled Egg instead of soft boiled, no croutons and chicken added was lumps of chicken plonked on top instead of appetizing slices, raw tinned anchovies on top instead of blended into a very bland Caesar dressing. Would never order that again! Was eating lunch with a restaurant chef who agreed - not as it should be and was a very poor effort of a Caesar Salad!

Went for the Wednesday night Pizza / cocktail special. Limited choices on cocktails (however they were excellent). Pizza simply amazing!! 6 pizza's orders, 5 were the best ever, the GF one, less then special, not enough toppings to override the GF crust. Courtney and Aaron (our servers) were lovely and on the run all night. Nothing was to much to do for us, so worth the wait.

New in the area and enticed by live music, as promised three times a week on the website, we Ubered in to the Raffles for a night out. We appreciated the outside heaters and joined other groups sitting in the outside terrace at 6.15pm. A beer later we ordered a cheeseburger with added bacon that came with chips and salad for $28. The music probably wouldn't start till 7.30, we thought. The food came out - a tasty but small burger and a handful of chips. No salad in sight. Oh well... We eventually asked about the music. There was none. And none at all ever, even though the website trumpets it three times a week. Well, we would have not come if we had known that. We stayed anyway and became increasingly dismayed with the congealed plates of food and mountains of dirty glasses around us. Staff brought cocktails out to people and frequently headed back inside empty handed. The table belonging to the ladies' group which left shortly after we arrived took ages to be cleared of plates etc and the numerous dirty glasses were stacked and then LEFT on the table for 2 and a half HOURS! Still there when we left along with those on many other tables. This, together with the security guard who kept patrolling past with the air of bored menace akin to a school teacher on yard duty, was the final straw. (He said he wasnt allowed to pick up glasses.) I can see why the competition is so strong and think we'll join the other locals next time.

I live 200 metres from this abysmal overpriced pit and lasted there for less than 20 minutes. A Tuesday afternoon was like walking into a nursing home. I'm 65, but the clientele were right at home where the atmosphere was that of a morgue. Every patron should be supplied with a pillow in case they want to nod off from all the excitement! At the bar, I was charged $11.50 for a 375 mL stubbie of VB which should not have been more than $6.00! Next stop, the menu. Just a mere $30.00 for a steak sandwich with a serving spoon's serving of fries. No wonder McDonalds, Hungry Jacks and Grill'd are doing a roar trade. This dump is to be avoided at all costs.

We were greeted by a lovely man Tony, his hospitality was warm, friendly and inviting. Our drinks and entrees arrived promptly and were absolutely delicious. We had kilpatric oysters Devine and Barratta salad, delicious. Followed by the swordfish cooked to perfection and the Raffles surf n turf was cooked to exactly how I like it . The music was a lovely ambiance to set the scenes and as we watched the rain on the river while being toasty warm experience. Il be back Tony .

We decided to have lunch at the Raffles on 5th September for our Wedding Anniversary and it did not disappoint. Despite the wild weather outside the venue had a lovely warm ambience. Tony seated us and made menu recommendations which proved to be spot on! The oyster were so fresh, the Salmon and Pea Risotto absolutely cooked to perfection and the Surf and Turf cooked to order. Our meal was delicious! Tony's friendly but very professional service was excellent. Thank you for making our day wonderful!

Reserved a table for 7, got a table for 4, crowded from the start. Some of the dishes were really nice, one of the most expensive the crab linguine was absolutely can’t say what it tasted lime but you get the just. , only taste was chilli! When we complained, zero, absolutely zero from staff and management, the worst customer service I have encountered. Would not book here ever again, top prices for low quantity food, spend your money at maccas if I was you. Spent over $1000 for out Xmas lunch, what a disappointment

Disappointing Food Despite a Stunning View The only thing saving this review from a one-star rating is the breathtaking view. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. We ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad, only to discover the salad leaves hadn’t been washed—something we had to send back. The replacement, fried calamari, was bland and lacked any real flavor. The chilli mussels were average, with minimal spice and nothing particularly special about the dish. The Chicken Parmi was also underwhelming, missing ham and lacking in overall taste. It’s a real shame because the location is fantastic, but the food left us disappointed. Hopefully, they can improve, as this venue has great potential.

Special mid week meal with a group of friends, including friends from overseas. The venue was ridiculously cold to start with..... Menu selection was pretty average and when our ordered meals did arrive, 4 out of the 6 meals were exceptionally disappointing. Potatoe pizza was dry and sauceless, steak was cheap, fatty and with no salad (had to order this separely), barramundi was so small and the pototoe it was sitting on was debatable if it wasn't freeze dried! When we complained, were given cheap drinks as compensation......not good service as we were all driving. No financial discount was not offered or apology from the chef/cook. Waitress was good, but highly embarrassed and very apologetic. Venue looks the part, but would not go back or recommend. An expensive and disappointing evening.

Great food, speedy service with a smile. We were a large group booking and they served us in a timely manner for a group of 20. The food was fresh and tasty and large servings. I had the chilli mussels and they were delicious. Hubby had a steak sanwhich and was happy with it and our girls had the cheese burgers and chips. The others had pizza and loved it. For dessert they had the chocolate fondant and the trio of icebreaker which was loved by all Great atmosphere and view with a stunning sunset.

Had the worst eating out experience today. Six of us went to the Raffles Hotel for lunch. There was plenty to choose from off the menu, unfortunately I picked the worst. I ordered the "Charcuterie (came with house pickles, mustard)". This was how it was advertised. When it arrived, it consisted of two small slices of toasted bread, with a very small smattering of oil on top. The pickles consisted of 4 small florets of cauliflower, pickles and one radish sliced, (the pickles tasted very old). There was a very small dollop of mustard (could have been a small teaspoon size). The meats were salami, prosciutto, and two other meats which I could not identify. I was even given a small container of olive oil and balsamic vinegar to put on the toast as I said it was very dry. And that was it! The cost for this was $32.00!!! As far as I am aware a charcuterie board should be made up of at least the following: Cured meats. Cheese. Olives. Nuts. Dried Fruit. Crackers or baguette bread. Jelly or jam. Dips. Pate. When I was asked how my meal was, I mentioned to the waitperson that I was very disappointed. As far as I could see, the meal I was served was more like an antipasto plate. The response I got back was very rude. I was told in no uncertain circumstances what a charcuterie was and that basically, I knew nothing. I was also told that a charcuterie was what ever the chef decides it could be! I have never had anyone ever be so rude to me. I have ordered a charcuterie board at many restaurants and have never been as disappointed as I was today. I will never return, and will make sure my friends and family know about my experience today.

Had booked table for 7:30 but when arrived our table was taken by some people and waitresses said they will inform the manager and after 10 minutes still nothing we had to look for the manager and when found 2 managers they didn’t ask the people to leave they wanted us to seat inside the venue where we had booked the outside tables . Anyways after 20 minutes the people gave up and left the the table we had booked. This was a family gathering after 5 years - family had arrived from overseas and I will not book raffles again

Had the barramundi, the skin was so salty I had about 10 glasses of water. The size of the Fish was so small . For $41 I’d expect a good sized portion and no sides to go with it, just some blanched up tomatoes under neath it with a few slices of radish on top of it. My partner had a Margherita pizza which said was ok except for a few slices a cheese on top. I know times are tough atm but a few more slices of cheese wouldn’t hurt. Positive note the service was good and the set out really nice. But I won’t be back.
