Come to this restraurant a few times. Black Pepper Squi. Beat ever. Entree enough for two. Beat peanuts when u arrive also. Good service Good Food Easy Locatoon.

Overall very average...appetizers were just ok, very much a 70s presentation with grated carrot and large pieces of lettuce next to 'main' ingredient. We shared four main courses and boiled rice - all of them basically tasted the same, besides the salt'n'pepper prawns, which were the highlight of the dishes. Won't be rushing back (if at all).

TQR specialises in Asian food, especially Vietanamese. It's in Sleet Road, Applecross, Sleet Road. Applecross is an up-market South of the River suburb bordered by the Canning River. TQR's food is very good, especially the pho, which is Vietnanmese noodle soup. It is served with a variety of seasonings such as flemon slices, fresh mint and bean sprouts.

Now called Wok Master - now with appaulling service.
Even my children were in shock with the appaulling service. Clearly the new owners are leading the way here. Never have we felt so uncomfortable at a restaurant in Perth.
Good luck ,you’ll need it.

The classic Vietnamese dish is pho, also known as noodle soup. Every chef has his own secret recipe for the soup and I must agree that the soup is very tasty. The pho came with a generous amount of condiments, including Vietnamese mint, chilli and bean sprouts. I had a James Boag Premium Light. It's a light beer, served chilled, that goes very well with Asian food. I must say that I have eaten pho many times in Vietnam and Australia and this pho was up there with the best. The restaurant also supplies of jug of iced water, which they refill as required. I must say that the price is very moderate.

Unfortunately the subtle bright flavours of Vietnamese cuisine are not reflected by this establishment.
Their menu is long- very long- and much like a version of “old school” Chinese food from the 80s- complete with sizzling dishes.
The best Vietnamese food in Perth often is from places with short and simple menus- doing a few things very well.
I suggest that this model should be considered by the owners- try “the yellow pancake” in Wembley.

We visited for dinner last night. The service was friendly and fast. Great atmosphere and food was fresh, tasty, well presented and very generous portions. we had ceremony rice paper rolls, vegetarian rice paper rolls, Vietnamese raw beef salad, Lotus seafood salad, and sizzling chicken and vegetables. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

We had dined at TQR about 18 months ago and had not returned as the meal was very average and there is a lot of choice in the area. We had a large party on Saturday night of 13 and the experience was fantastic.
The service was very good, very attentive, prompt and polite, really great service. Each of the dishes was just fantastic and each had their individual taste. We had scallops along with other dishes, there were actually quite a few scallops in the serve, really great value.
We will return soon, as we realy enjoyed.

We had pork chop broken rice and beef pho for dinner. Both dishes were tasty. The portions were large. These two dishes were on specials, so they'd be good choice for meeting up with friends over lunch.
The staff were friendly, it's a BYO.
Will come again.

I have to admit it ... I’m an Eastern Stater ... but I come to WA three to four times per year for work ... TQR Applecross is a personal favorite.
The food is fresh and good quality , we had take away and it was prompt and accurate .
I love the chili beef ( no onions if required)
The fried rice is excellent, chicken basil, crispy skin duck and black pepper squid were also spectacular.
I don’t know why some reviews are negative - I think it’s a really good choice for this area

This used to be Beethovens heavy European feeling restaurant. Converted to Vietnamese style but you wouldn't know when we were they we were the only customers so extremely quite......food was okay Anne had noodles with prawns exactly want she wanted I had duck they was ordinary...wine list only two choices of a glass very ordinary with no chardonnay...would i go back yes but ready this time with same changes
