This is a tiny skyway option, with perhaps 8-10 counter seats and a lot of people getting lunch takeout. Most seemed to be regulars who knew exactly what they wanted.
The two of us had two sushi rolls, an order of hamachi (quite a few pieces on rice) and a seaweed salad, It was amazingly inexpensive, and the fish was good quality, if slightly meager in the rolls. We were fully satiated.
The menu is somewhat limited; most of the rolls are similar with small variations. Most people getting takeout ordered "sushi bowls,: but we never figured out what that was. There are no hot items like agedashi tofu.

I have been going to this restaurant for some time but only just now thought to review it. I have never had a bad lunch here. I’ve had their sushi bowls with a side of miso soup, udon noodle soups, curry bowls, oshizushi, dumplings, and others. This is my go to place whenever I’m feeling stressed at work. Somehow their food always calms me down. And their pricing is so good that you won’t feel bad about not packing a lunch. This place almost always has a line out the door but it moves pretty fast. Located in the Baker Building downtown Minneapolis.

Great lunch spot in the skyway! The sushi bowls are my favorite. They come with miso soup and are a filling & delicious lunch. The line is usually out the door, but they are very quick and efficient in their service. I've also tried the curry bowl- the meat melts in your mouth. There is limited restaurant seating, so I usually do a takeaway.

If you want inexpensive, fast sushi, this place may please you. If you’d rather pay a little more, get a better quality, and a nicer atmosphere then keep walking.
My colleague and I stopped at the SkyWalk location in the 733 building. This location is carry out only. Now I can’t say the food was bad, just so average and light on flavor. I ordered the six piece Hamachi with miso soup. The soup was hot, flavorful, and satisfying. The sushi was pale in color and the rice was warm.
So for some, for many (based on the line when we arrived) this is a good lunch spot. Just not for me. Draw your own conclusions.

Went here during a lunch break from a meeting and saw that they had both my favorite foods! Ramen & Sushi, you can't go wrong. I had the pork katsu and it was very good! The sushi looked fresh and the spicy tuna was good as well! You can't go wrong here & the price is right!!!

I’ve eaten lunch there twice in the past two days. I had the sushi bowl and miso soup and seriously enjoyed both. It was under $10 including tip. After spending as much as$40 on lunch, this food is just as good. It’s a little hard to find until you get used to navigating the skyway, but definitely worth it.

I come here for the sushi lunch bowl which other reviewers have described.
It’s delicious, served fast and very consistent from day to day.
Don’t wait. Just try it!
Highly recommended.

We were impressed with the flavor, freshness, speed and cost of our meal. I had the pork belly curry and my wife had the sushi roll special. Can't beat the cost and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend it!

Twice I have walked by this establishment and the line is always long - that turns out to be a good sign as the sushi is nice and fresh and worth the short wait. I had the sushi bowl lunch special and opted for extra rice as opposed to the miso soup. The sushi bowl had three types of fresh fish, avocado, two sauces - spicy mayo and eel sauce and the usual wasabi and ginger. This was so fresh and tasty. What was even more impressive was the woman who took the orders. She seemed to remember who ordered what with at least 15 - 20 people waiting and was very helpful as well. Despite the line, service was very quick. I look forward to a return visit soon.

We tried this new to Plymouth restaurant to see if sushi was any good. The staff is new and aims to please. Everything we had was very good. Well worth the visit. We will be returning.

I grabbed some sushi from the case a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious. Today I stopped in and grabbed a sushi bowl for $6.95 and that was amazing. Comes with 3 types of fish, avacado, sushi rice, spicy mayo, tempura, ginger and wasabi with a bowl of miso soup on the side. Everything was super fresh and delicious - authentic Japanese cuisine. Will absolutely be back!

This place is off the skyway past 7th... And I tried it based off reviews. I noted that there is a water dispenser for customers, which is really nice! I tried the Shrimp Tempura Udon Noodle Bowl ( ok, a little spicy) and the Dancing Eel Roll( really good) and my total was $16.80.

I try to come here once a week, and I love it. The "sushi special" is only $6.95 and comes with a really nice bowl of rice and fish with some avocado, bread crumbs, and Japanese mayonnaise, along with a side of miso soup. It's great! Everything is well priced, and much cheaper than some other sushi places around downtown. A perfect spot for lunch!

Excellent! The sushi was fresh and tasty. Also had the seaweed salad which was really fresh and good. My co-worker also had sushi and really liked it. The only negative is this is really pricey. The place is extremely busy. We stopped by for lunch.

I was walking through the skyway back to work and wanted to grab a quick lunch.
I didn't have time to have something made fresh so had to grab something that was already made. It was slim pickings. I had the California roll. It was pretty good. Next time I'll want to try something fresh.
