Loved the food and the excellent service. Diners have the choice to eat downstairs or upstairs. They have a very nice menu and a lot of choices. The view of the Soo Locks is fantastic. There was a freighter going though the Locks. It was...More

Went here for dinner upon a local recommendation. The whitefish was the best I’ve had yet on my trip. It was so good we went back for breakfast and was not disappointed. The Saben (corned beef hash) was a hit!

We came here for dinner because of others’ recommendations. My husband had whitefish which he enjoyed. I tried the clam basket. Both were satisfactory.

Went their to taste their famous fish and chips...the fish was the best I've ever had. The chips are the reason for only giving a '2'. With a little effort they could serve fresh potatoes instead of frozen and indeed earn the 5 star rating...More

Dear brightgown, I am so happy to read that you enjoyed the whitefish. It is fresh and never frozen and you noticed. The potatoes are a very high quality frozen product that are quite expensive. With that said there are no substitutes for the real...More

We had breakfast at Lockview Restaurant and were very pleased. We had the Whitefish and 2 eggs. Both the broiled and the lemon pepper were delicious. The Poe Bagel was also very very good. Light and crispy hash browns and all the coffee we wanted....More

Across from the entrance to the Soo Locks the Lock View isn't just for tourists. Local people regard our whitefish as the best with our saying "the fish you eat today slept last night in whitefish bay". We prepare our whitefish and walleye many different ways: pan-fried, broiled, lemon-pepper, Cajun, deep-fried, Cajun deep fried, Cajun broiled, and lemon pepper broiled. We are more than family friendly and with two floors of seating; we can easily accommodate large groups! Open May- October!
