We picked up 2 of Toonie’s Wednesday night Rib specials last night and they were so GOOD! Falling off the bone tender, perfect sauce, crispy fries and yummy coleslaw - fantastic!!!

We visited here for lunch because many places didn’t open until later in the day. The menu looked good but since it was lunchtime I opted for a steak sandwich and was under impressed with the size of it. Waitress was attentive.

Had dinner here for the first time with friends and family. Menu has both entrees and sandwiches and salads. Full bar and many craft beer choices. I don’t believe they take reservations but we had no trouble getting a table when we arrived. Two of...us ordered the prime rib dinner special ($21.95) that included two sides and a loaf of fresh baked bread. One tried the hot beef sandwich that looked delicious and came with mashed potatoes and was smothered in gravy. Another tried the chicken Caesar salad (that needed more dressing). Two tried soup and both said it was very tasty. Waitress was attentive but did not hover or rush us. My only complaint was that each of the prime rib dinners came with a loaf of the bread but only one loaf was delivered to our table. When we asked for another loaf we were surprised to see we were charged for it!!More

We were in town and wanted to have for a nice meal ribs were the fare it seamed that what everyone was there for....OMG fall off the bone fries cole slaw .... fast and delicious

Breakfast was pretty good. I ordered biscuits and gravy. Gravy had a different taste from what I’m used to, but it was very tasty. Wife ordered a ham omelet and thought it was tasty. Waitress was excellent!! Waitress actually put some faith back into Bellaire...hospitality. The waitress from a previous restaurant the day before and the receptionist at the local resort were very rude. I would go back and eat here again. I wouldn’t mind trying lunch or dinner.More

Worst rib eye I ever had. Too tough to chew, under cooked, sent it back, came back microwaved and still under cooked. Service was fine, french fries were great, steak sucked balls.

One of the few remaining which combines great food and great service. The atmosphere is OK, but don't go for that. Go for the food! A cool horseshoe bar and old photos of the lake complete the visit. Try the salmon or the ribeye. Great...salad, great crusty bread. We're local and we love it.More
