This quaint place has food that is homestyle fabulous! I enjoyed a seasonal special, pumpkin stuffed fresh toast with Apple cider drizzle...divine!my husband had the dagwood club with homemade cap of chips! So many great choices we plan to return.
We had to wait about 20 minutes to seat our party of 5. The waitstaff were all very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. My husband ordered the kitchen sink which was literally everything. I had the french toast with berries. My son had...the blueberry cheesecake waffles. My daughter had chocolate cookie dough pancakes which were so sweet and she loved them. My other son had the steak and eggs. Everything was delicious.More
my partner and i had such a delicious brunch here during our trip to the cape. we both ordered the biscuits and gravy and couldn't believe how filling and decadent they were! the biscuits were big and fluffy and the portions were overall generous and...we were full for a while after eating. our hostess was bright, cheery and kind!More
Small restaurant with amazing food! They make every space available in this place work to assist as many customers possible at one time. The food is worth the wait! A good variety menu with various specials that you should definitely check out. The potatoes are...absolutely amazing and are worthy of the side dish all on their own! Highly recommend a stop here to enjoy some great food and friendly staff.More
We were charmed by the ambience, and unusual (yet DELICIOUS) options. Homemade biscuits "British Style" with homemade jam and ricotta was a delight! Definitely something we don't have at home.
For a busy place, everything was made, and plated(!), with love.
As my husband put...it, this is "real food."
And, I'm still trying to figure out how they make their home fries so delectable. I'm not much of a potato person, but I savored each, perfectly seasoned, bite.
Highly, highly recommended.More
We had an excellent breakfast here, even if the wait for a table was already 30 minutes at 8 30 in the morning. We had pancakes, eggs (several combinations) and everything was very good. Service was very good as well.
This is a review for the food truck, Sunny Side Down! Same parking lot, evening hours however. Everything was delicious! There were 4 of us diners, two of us got the burger, one had chicken and waffles, and another ordered the crab hush puppies. We...also got a side order of smashed fingerling potatoes that were superb! We happened to be driving by, later in the evening, after a long visit to an urgent care center and then a pharmacy for prescriptions. It had been a long afternoon, and we were hungry and worn out! There was a slight wait for the food, it was worth it though! The burgers were slightly overcooked, however it didn't matter because they had bacon on them! Chicken and waffles were cooked perfectly and so tasty, with a hint of orange flavor. Our most discerning eater gobbled down the hush puppies and enjoyed it very much! Very yummy, definitely give them a try!More
I had the make your own omelet with caramelized onions, spinach, local cheddar, and smoked ham. The combination was amazing and the smoked ham was lean with awesome flavor. My wife enjoyed the buckwheat waffles and my son thought the home fries were some of...the best he's tasted. Their bread for toast is very hearty. They have some very unique items on the menu and I want to try them for lunch soon.More
