I have been visiting New England for over 20 years since my daughter came to live in Danvers. I love your diners and visit one every morning during my stay. Without a doubt Little Depot, (which I always visit more than once), is my favourite....Food, Friendliness, atmosphere, the diner itself, music - it doesn’t come better and always so obliging. Thanks Alex and Chuck - an highlight of my stay. Already looking to next years visit.More

Great little diner. Family operated with home made bacon and sausage. Our meals were quick, hot and very good tasting.

Food is delicious. I read a lot about the baked beans, but I'm not sure I found them to be all that spectacular. My French toast sandwich, though, and my fiance's eggs Benedict were lovely, as were the home fries. Definitely worth a visit!! They...also had rock music playing the whole time, so 🤘. Be prepared: there isn't a lot of seating, it's cash only, and there are no bathrooms.More

Took my Mom and daughter there, all loved their food, the waitress was so nice! I had the Pastramis and eggs and it was great, my daughter had a benedict dish and it was huge but she (a thin young lady) ate every bit

What a great place to have breakfast! Amanda our server is awesome, friendly and funny. Chuck back in the kitchen is a really good cook. The pancakes w/fruit was really good, plus you have to try the homemade Hungarian sausage, really good. If you're in...Boston area you have to go here!More

Actually open 7 days and close at noon, one on weekends. Wonderful waitress fed us even though we were there at closing. Basically a breakfast menu omelette was great, raisin toast and staff with a since of humor. Great place

Eclectic breakfast menu (eggs over hot pastrami with Hollandaise) with huge delicious portions. 15 stools at a bar, single very attentive waitress, outside dining and popular., The waitress greeted nearly everyone who entered by name!!!! We loved it!!!!!

We didn’t know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The food is excellent. They have an amazing of selection of food. My husband had the house scramble. He said it was extremely flavorful. I had the all aboard special which is pretty much...you standard breakfast but with a huge pancake. The food was great. The place is small and everyone gets cozy with the counter seating.More

Stumbled upon this place when we searched for a breakfast diner. It is tiny (13 counter seats) but cute. The food was fast and delicious! The stools are really close together and a little tipsy. Our biggest complaint is there are no bathrooms - had...to back track and find McDonalds before we could continue on our trip!More

Great place for breakfast, counter seats only and limited number, but great service, great pricing and fabulous food. Worth a visit. Plenty of off road parking.

We went to this13 stool diner situated next to a railroad track. This place has been around since 1952. It looks like it might have been a railroad car once. About two feet below the ceiling is a model train that went around a track...that surrounded the perimeter. They had terrific blues memorabilia on the walls. While you’re eating ,you’ll be serenaded with some great blues music from many of the great blues artists ever. The food was delicious. I was blown away by the Hungarian sausage patties which are homemade. They were flavorful and had a nice cayenne attribute to give it some pop. My wife’s bacon was super crispy. The next time we are in the Boston area, we will come back. Just as we were leaving, they were bringing out these bodacious muffins which had just been taken out of the oven . This is a great destination, a true time machine.More

Loved this place! This cute little diner is a little train car playing the blues as you enjoy a lovely meal. My boyfriend and I came in for breakfast and were very surprised. For such a small little place and kitchen, im not going to...lie, i was not expecting the portion, nor the quality of food we received. Must say the food was top knotch and, we, being in the industy, really like the open kitchen. The service was a bit slack and would also point out that this is a place that DOES NOT TAKE CARDS!!! ONLY CASH!!! We only had card, which was a pain on us, since we were new in town, and didnt know where to go to get cashback... They do have an atm however our card charges $4 per withdrawl. No thanks. Overall, fourstars. Love it here.More

So looking through my pictures, I realized that this place had escaped from my figurative pen. Well today I am here to tell you about this charming little diner. In the heart of Peabody Square behind the courthouse is the modest but spunky diner. Set...aside defunct train tracks which no longer carries trains, The Little Depot Diner harkens back to Americana with a blues theme and vibe from music to decorations. The space is small and cramped, but it forces customers to be intimate and to interact with one another. The staff are pleasant and cheery. Don't want to stay? Order take out! The food? Well how the hell do you go wrong with kolbasz (Hungarian style sausage) within an English muffin covered with egg, smothered with melted cheese? The bacon is a perfect crispy without being burnt or dry, the coffee is found to be enjoyable black (just like my soul). The price is very affordable as well.More
