We picked this restaurant after a day of tours in the area based on reviews. We were looking for seafood. We were told right at the start that they were short staffed but the hostess was very nice, we only had a short wait. The...poor waitress seemed like the only one there and did a great job. The food was not that great though. The blackened swordfish was not trimmed or prepared right. The stuffed shrimp was in a strange tasting sauce. I get short staffing but when paying good money you should get good tasting food. Not tonight.More

Visiting from the Midwest we stayed in Fall River the night before we took a ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Before leaving for our vacation I had researched restaurants in the area we would be staying and planned on dining at a different restaurant. As we...headed there we saw Lepage's but didn't stop. The restaurant we were going to eat at didn't look like it was in a very good part of town so we went back to Lepages and are so glad we did! Took the recommendations from the waitress and ordered Shrimp Mozambique (I admit when she brought it I wasn't sure I was going to like it) and it was fabulous! Hubby ordered Lobster Ravioli which he said was very good but the lobster could have been a little more tender. If in the Fall River area try Lepages! We sat in the outdoor seating area where the view is very pretty!More

Never eaten here before, but we were hungry and decided to stop. So glad we did. Everything was delicious. I got a strawberry, goat cheese and pistachio salad with shrimp. It was fresh and delicious and the shrimp were grilled to perfection. My husband got...the lobster Mac n cheese. I of course had a bite. Lobster cooked tender and moist. Mac and cheese was super cheesy and delicious. Server was friendly and checked on us often and food arrived quickly. We will definitely stop here again when we are in the area.More

Enjoy the typical New England seafood items as well as several Portuguese-style dishes! I'm a North Shore person to the core and was eager to see what the South Shore could offer for seafood. Lepage's is a great value with delicious food. Tried the Mozambique...fries, a spicy appetizer similar to Quebec poutine. It had chourico, pepperjack cheese and Mozambique sauce that was not overly aggressive. Very good dish. We also had the calamari, which was excellent but perhaps could use less of the vinegar peppers. Then a scallop roll and Cesar salad both very good. The coleslaw was my only disappointment as it seemed similar to store-bought, Very nice hostess and servers in this casual waterfront spot. I enjoyed one of their two daily special cocktails, the Old Fashioned with Maker's Mark. Would come again, perhaps to try the "claim boil" a classic option that I just heard about.More

My wife and I felt like having sea food so having just moved back to FR and were close to Lepages Restaurant we pulled in there. It turned out to be a very bad experience. First it was a week day early afternoon so not...sure if they were short staffed. We were seated quick, but waited almost 15 minutes for a waiter to take our order. 2. We both got sea food plates, combos clams/scallops. The clams were bad what a bad taste , the partions were the smallest we ever received and priced high to make things worse, if we got a good plate then the price does not matter to me. I wanted to talk to someone but left . Every time we past that rest. we say never again. This is not my stile dont like doing this but it was a very bad experience.More

We are from Maine but visit family in RI and MA frequently during the year. One of our favorite restaurants is Lepage's Seafood and Grille right on the Watuppa Pond. A wide variety of American, Seafood and Portuguese foods are excellent. Service is great. I...love the Portuguese bread served with your meal. You have to try this wonderful place.More

If. you want seafood at a reasonable price and with excellent service, you need to dine at Lepage's Seafood and Grille. Fish and chips is our favorite. However, we have tried almost everything on the menu and all very tasty and prepared in the best...manner possible. Service and expense are excellent!More

Place is nothing fancy, but has great food. My dad had seafood risotto- was excellent. My sister had lobster bisque- tasted a little too much sherry but she enjoyed it. I don’t really eat seafood, so I had the chicken carbonara and it was excellent-...chicken was tender and hot. The service was ok- nothing great. But if you are going to socialize and are not starving, it’s a great choice. Seems like a decent desert menu too- noticed a lot of locals go here.More

I'm not sure. I will suggest going to their web site and send an e-mail asking if they serve baked potatoes as a substitute for french fries. Never hurts to ask, all they can say is no!
