Clyde’s Tower Oaks has a lively bar scene with great happy hour specials. Occasionally I have found service to be uneven but on this visit it was great, as was the meal.

Visiting relatives in Rockville, they suggested that we go to Clyde's Tower Oak Lodge for lunch. All of us were quite overwhelmed by the beautiful setting; the many natural wood dining rooms and bars within the lodge were impressive. The sandwiches and salads that we...More

We took some visitors from Britain to Clyde's, hoping the experience would be better than our last two visits. It was great! We all ordered fish, with variations in the side dishes. The fish was prepared to perfection (I tasted all 3 fish orders), and...More

Clyde's Tower Oaks "Lodge" is a huge restaurant and bar, a bit off the bitten path in Rockville, MD--but worth finding. It has a number of dining rooms, and a large bar area, plus parking (and valet parking.) The prices are reasonable, and sometimes downright...More

I went to lunch with my husband in June 2018. I had not been to the Tower Oaks Clyde's for several years. There are not that many pretty restaurants in Rockville -- that is the only explanation for this Clyde's popularity. It is a beautiful...More

I'm rather stunned to say that i'd never been to this really, truly, extraordinarily attractive restaurant. I know, I know. Who cares about ambience if the food is terrible? (And I admit that we were there for lunch, not dinner.) But the food was excellent...More

This is a large restaurant with interesting decor invoking a hunting lodge. The menu is extensive, and prices are moderate. Most of the seating is in comfortable booths. Notify staff if a diner has a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary, and it...More

Their Dinner menu changes every month or so, but there are many staples such as Parmesan Trout. I highly recommend. Their Vegetarian dishes are great as well, I love their Butternut Squash Ravioli in a pecan cream sauce! Any... More

Description
Tucked away in a 22-acre nature preserve just fifteen minutes from Georgetown, Tower Oaks Lodge has the look and feel of an authentic Adirondack lodge. Divided into four dining rooms, the Lodge contains a vast collection of art and artifacts such as vintage canoes and row boats, and antique saddles and trophies. Chef Jeffery Eng, formerly of 1789 Restaurant, presides over the kitchen team featuring a menu of great American saloon-style food. The Lodge offers the freshest seafood, locally-grown seasonal vegetables, pastas, and salads, as well as Clyde's classics such as cheeseburgers and chili.
