Stopped in for sandwiches after pulling in to town. We chose to sit outside and were greeted promptly by a young woman with the best personality!! The place was a nice surprise with fresh bread subs and cocktails that were heavy-poured! Beware the beverages are...strong... LoL! I had a Buffalo chicken sub that's was packed with flavorful chicken. I also tried the dirty banana margarita. It was refreshing and a great blend. We're planning another lunch there later this week.More

Horrible service! I had my mask on and I was dancing in my spot at a high-top table with the chair pushed out behind me and I was thrown out for dancing. LOL what what never seen anything like it and you would have thought...I was smoking crack at the table with how out of control the bouncer got. The bouncer even got up in my 65 year aunts face telling her he was going to physically throw her out and snatched her new drink out of her hand that she had to physically go to the bar for since the service sucked.More

We stumbled in off-season customer appreciation day. Live music, staff was all dressed in ugly sweaters for Christmas, happy hour food and drink specials. Locals were very friendly and welcoming,

Nice HH until 6 and you order the hoagies at the connecting area and can eat in the bar area. The Primo people have walked my orders over to me in the past so that’s nice of them. My last visit didn’t have good service...from the bar area but previous visits were good.More

Stopped in after a good day on the beach. Staff is friendly and helpful. We got there before the music. Local crew at the bar was well behaved and friendly enough. Happy Hour beer prices are good, my wife had a frozen strawberry margarita hoping...for a treat, but is was "meh." Food is available from the Primo's Hoagies next door/connected, but its not bar food. Not sure what the fuss is about regarding this place. Must need the entertainment for it to be super fun.More

Beach Barrels is the best for local low key company during the day and fun filled live music on the weekends. The staff is eager to serve in any way. You can pull a bottle from the shelf and they'll cork it for you or...you can have a beverage at the fully stocked bar. It also shares space with Primo Hoagies....possibly the best sandwich in Ocean City.More

I went there to see the band the Swell Fellas. Which they were awesome. They have a small bar and store combo and sell beer and other things such as beef jerky for take out. You can order food from Primos next door at eat...it there. Primos make delicious Italian subs. I like the Soprano.More

We went to Beach Barrells to see one of our favorite bands, "Blynd Ambition." They are based in Southern PA, near York, They play mostly classic rock. We ordered some food right about the time the band started playing. We ordered the "mild Italian" hoagie....We were very disappointed. We are used to good hoagies in the Ocean City area (Southside Deli, High Stakes) and we were surprised by the scarcity of meat in the sub. And the meat and cheeses were very ordinary. We recommend Beach Barrels for drinks but not for the food.More

Great place to stop in to escape the sun for few drinks around lunch time. Nice clean bar with lots of bar seating and tvs. The place serves as a quick stop to purchase cases of beer, a bar, and serves food from Primo Hoagies...attached next door. Spent a few extended lunch breaks here playing keno and sipping back a few cold ones. They're only flaw is every time we were there they had one bartender doing it all. They could definitely use an extra hand. However they don't let that get them down. Each one had a smile every time. Food from next door is quick and delicious.More

I popped in primo subs plenty of times but never made it to beach barrels at night. This changed in late Aug. I had some friends come down to visit. Late night we walked by beach barrels and I thought I've been meaning to stop...it here. We popped in on a Saturday night late in Aug. a live band was playing and everyone was having a great time. The bartenders went out of their way to help us. We all had a great time.More

Friends of ours' were playing music at Beach Barrels so we wedged them into a busy Saturday night. Jack Worthington is a super nice guy and he had our favorite harmonica player, Micky Mieikeljohn, with him. Don Owens was playing lead guitar so they had...a nice sound for the venue. Ocean City has some quirky places and this is the new leader. This is a Sub Shop, beer store, and bar all rolled into one. They could handle more seating since with a strong band this place was packed. Primo Hoagies shares the space and the waiter takes your order and delivers the cold sub to your table. Mine was a corned beef and swiss that was outstanding. My wife had the Schwartzie with turkey and she loved it. The beer was served in clear plastic cups. The new Bar Manager was super nice. Looking at the entertainment lineup written on the chalk board we will be back. Great that they advertise in Coconut Times so we do not have to memorize the schedule. They do need a grill for Steak & Cheese and a fryer for french fries, but they are very good at what they do.More

We were there off season and customer appreciation day. It was crowded but we got in. Drinks that weren’t on special were reasonable.
