On a Saturday evening in Portland, it was strange to walk into a nearly empty restaurant in the downtown area, where high standards prevail! Nevertheless, we sat. Service was lackluster, but okay. Food was cold, tasteless and not inexpensive. $20 for a bad veggie burger....Never again. This doesn't reflect well on the hotel and falls far short of expectations that visitors have of Portland restaurants.More
Seated via reservation for Christmas dinner and served appetizers 45 minutes later. Several items on the special drink menu were unavailable as was one of the only two Christmas dinner entree offerings. Really? So ham....or Ham. The salad came and was, without embellishment, half soggy...croutons. I mean literally half the 14 dollar salad was wet croutons. It was all so bad we left without ordering the main course. On the way out of the Westin where the place is located my six year old slipped on a puddle of urine in the mens room and fell. I almost booked the hotel for a week. Relieved I made another choice.More
Service was friendly, my appy was tasty, and I felt comfortable having a few glasses of wine and reading my book.
I was staying in the hotel and had breakfast here. The breakfast has a big spread with many items to choose from. The service was good and they also make omelets to order.
Goes from 3-7 - great bar tenders and service. Nice menu Selection - recommend Lobster Roll sliders - perfect to share. Don't dip in Too much butter - yum. Also has a super Breakfast buffet.
We were staying at the hotel associated with this venue and decided to visit out of convenience. We happened upon happy hour (3pm to 7pm) and were offered $3 craft beers, wine and bar food. All the offered items were high quality. Great value for...money!More

Very average. Appealing because of their happy hour menu, but the service was totally confused, the appetizers were not great, and the entire vibe is, maybe not surprisingly, like a basic hotel.
One of the nice things about staying at the Westin is the wonderful C2 restaurant which we always look forward to visiting. This year the breakfast buffet was outstanding!
C Squared is in the Westin Portland, Nice breakfast buffet. Lots of breads and pastries, eggs, fruits, cereal and yogurt. Good variety, kept well stocked.
The Irish breakfast was excellent. Plenty to eat with very tasty items. Excellent service and goos price also
We had breakfast at the restaurant at the Westin. Because it was a snowy day, I kept my order simple. I ordered an omelette with goat cheese, spinach, and sausage. There was a sprinkle of goat cheese and about 4 leaves of spinach. I also...ordered a croissant with jam and received the jam once my croissant was thoroughly chilled. My family of three paid $75 without tip for breakfast. We all had omelette that were very sad. We did not stay at the hotel as we had a larger group and used Home Away,but I am a Marriott Rewards Member and stag frequently with Marriott. I would not be quick to choose a Westin.More
We went on a Friday night and it was dead quite - should have been our first clue. The drinks were wonderful and the steak perfect. The service was good but special requests were not addressed (not sure if it was her or the kitchen)....Asked for GF crackers - arrived after a 2nd request; requested no tomatoes yet the dish was laden with tomatoes. The lobster risotto was average to fair. The cheese board was delicious. Halibut was good. But overall it was ridiculously overpriced. So many other options to choose from in Portland so I would recommend you keep looking.More
Overpriced and small portions. Poached eggs were small and overcooked the bread underneath was stale
Located in the Westin very pleasant decor well staffed in summers by young college students. Normal hotel breakfast fare food was just as ordered and tasty making a good start to the day.
