Great food and awesome service. Loved the large lobster rolls and dessert! Love it! Trip Advisor wants 100 characters but I said it all 😊

You won't find anything healthy or trendy here, just comfort diner food in huge portions. Great value for the dollar though. Kids love it, especially the HUGE desserts.

Governer's is a well established restaurant with recopies that are tried and true. Traditional pot roast, pot pie, burgers...everything they have is delicious...especially the cheese bites! They offer daily specials at low prices.

Family restaurant. Not crowded at all. Food was ok. Did have monthly specials. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. Did have a bakery too. Dinner for 4 was still over 80. Was not really impressed.

Reminiscent of the family diners, often nominally Greek, that proliferate in many cities, but with a definite Maine flavor. A great clams, good burgers, good comfort food like meatloaf or pot roast. Outrageous baked goods.

Visited this restaurant for my birthday breakfast during my 2nd annual birthday weekend away to Bar Harbour. Breakfast was ok, we should have made a different selection (our fault), should have gone back to Dennys like the morning prior (our fault AGAIN!). I was selecting...More

The meals are great, but also try the homemade cookies. And the ice cream desserts are huge - share one.
