About
We are a family-owned ice cream stand in downtown Camden, Maine. Along with the creamiest soft serve in the whole state (really!), we offer more than 20 flavors of hard serve ice cream including Maine inspired flavors such as Maine Wild Blueberry, Maine Moose Tracks and Camden Cappuccino Crunch. Other yummy treats include milk shakes, sundaes, floats, and so much more! We also offer Vegan, and gluten and dairy free options!

We are staying at the Lord Camden Inn and this place is located in the back of the inn. We pass it several times per day so had to try it and glad we did! We went at around 8 pm and they were out of a flavors but luckily they had moose tracks which we ordered 2 scoops with hot fudge for $5.50. No complaints... just yummy goodness. And the river view is gorgeous. Normally I take pictures of the food but it was devoured too quickly... always a good sign!

Visited River Ducks mid afternoon on a Saturday. I enjoyed a honey roasted peanut butter ice cream cone. A small size comes as two scoops. They have a deck, but have removed all seating due to covid concerns. After we ordered, there was a steady line of people coming to get ice cream at this little stand just off of the waterfront area.

Want ice cream when you are in Camden? Visit River Ducks ice cream! Tons of popular flavors as well as Maine specific flavors. They offer cones and bowls of ice cream at a reasonable price. Service is quick and the staff was great.
There are a few seats outside to enjoy your ice cream and if you stop in close to dark, it is all lit up with fun lights! Very cute!

Tucked away on side street in Camden is the River Ducks ice cream shop. Usually a line of folks waiting their turn fot this tasty treat and the wait is worth it. Absolutely the best ice cream. My wife said we will definitely return.

A wonderful selection of ice cream. We were going to have just one scoop as we had just come from 40 Paper up the street, but the selection looked so good we we ordered two flavors (2 scoops) in a waffle cone. Probably shouldn't have as we were completely stuffed after, but it was a decadent delicious desert. Had to force ourselves to steer clear of temptation there for the rest of our visit to Camden.

Adorable spot. Plenty of seating on flower covered bridge- so pretty. Interesting flavors, some special ‘Maine-inspired’ flavors. Staff was kind and friendly. I couldn’t decide between flavors, so she offered to split my 1 scoop between 2 flavors. Both were delicious!

Perfect spot for an after dinner treat. Though the official closing time was 9p, no one in line was turned away. The flavor selections were staggering, but when in Maine, you have to go with Moose tracks…delicious!

Cute little ice cream stand just off the main drag in Camden. Delicious, creamy, ice cream- perfect for an after dinner treat! Large selection of flavors- we both went with a scoop of Wild Maine Blueberry. Yum!😋

Every vist to Camden is not complete without a visit to River Ducks the prices are good, the ice cream the best. With a great selections of flavors. We aways stop by several times when we visit the Camden area.

They have two windows and work fast. Many locals and visitors know about this place the line can grow long. Ice cream was excellent. I had peppermint which had just enough candy in it and great flavor. We enjoyed excellent chocolate chip mint and other flavors.

Best. Ice Cream. Ever.
I had a scoop of the Salted Caramel Truffle and the Cappuccino. Both were AMAZING!!!!! We sat on benches on the cute foot bridge next to the shop and enjoyed watching the river flow. I highly recommend!

Great location by the river. Lots of fun flavors. Many gluten free. Cash is king here. The one server, I believe her name was Amelia was friendly and working hard. I enjoyed my child size Coconut Almond ice cream. Our family all enjoyed their lunch time cones.

Delicious ice cream and beautiful location! Make sure to bring cash as this location is cash-only. The kids size is plenty and the soft serve is great. Wonderful service.
