We stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday morning on our way back to the Boston area after a weekend on the Phippsburg peninsula. We were graciously welcomed and offered whichever unoccupied table we would like. We chose to sit outside -- the weather was...More

Well, we too have a home just down the road in Phippsburg. We too have been to Winnegance numerous times for breakfast, take away items, lunch, you name it. We have never, ever had less than a pleasant experience, whether the quality of the food...More

We live just down the road and enjoyed watching the protracted renovation of the historic old building. Despite misgivings about the food truck empressarios that got the kitchen lease, we came in one Friday night to try the prime rib. The room was densely packed...More

I live close to this place, in Georgetown but I've never been there til now. Years ago I watched the entire building being jacked up in the air to rebuild the foundation of the historic Winnegance Store as it was being converted to a bakery-breakfast-lunch...More

Great spot for lunch on the way to a winter beach day at Popham. Salmon tacos were very nicely put together, not over-done. Award winning chowder was similarly very respectful of the fish and had a stand up in the spoon texture.

This is a small place with good food, good service, and the "country store" atmosphere. As others have mentioned, there are a handful of tables in a small room. The prices are reasonable for what you get. We would stop here again.

Clam chowder with grilled tuna sandwich for my wife and Holly's chicken salad sandwich for me. The staff, food, and price all excellent! We had just spent a couple of hours at Popham Beach and this was a great place to stop.

On a bitterly cold day, my wife and I decided to venture to WInnegance for lunch. We were rewarded with a warm, cozy atmosphere along with a warm greeting from our hostess, Lisa. At her advice, we helped ourselves to hot coffee and we both...More
