We always dine here after a day of shopping at Tanger Outlet Mall. The staff is so friendly and inviting. Managers come around to check on you while you’re dining. Even though the service is a bit delayed during peak times on Saturday and shift changes, regular customers are fine with the wait... The cocktails are so refreshing and the chicken quesadillas are sooooo delicious and filled with melted cheese! The baked potatoes are loaded with “goodness” and the steaks are prepared to order any way you prefer! Great spot to eat and catch the game on TV!

Been passing this place for years and never went. Well today I went. We had the blooming onion, onion soup, bake potatoe, filet mignon, ribeye, and mac and cheese. Everything was really good! Great place!

Dillon the Manager is an asset to the Outback Steakhouse Brand.

We had a problem with our food not coming out as it should. Dillon, the manager on duty, was quick to get the issue resolved. And he did so with a smile. He made our dining experience very pleasant and we will definitely be coming back again. Also to be commended for great customer service is our waiter - George and the other manager, Spawn, who was so kind as to ring up our gift card purchase. I highly recommend the Gonzales, LA location.

Save yourself some trouble and keep going past this place.

We have been to many Outbacks around the states and this is by far the worst experience we have ever had. Started with a 30 minute wait and when I looked inside saw many empty table (will probably blame this on worker shortage). Ordered a Bloody Mary and had more like a Lemon Mary because it was more lemon juice in tomato juice than vodka. Ordered prime rib only to find out that at 7:30 on a Saturday evening the kitchen was out, so had to settle for rib eye. When salad came they were not made correctly and tasted like rotten lettuce. We could not eat this mess, even after 3 hours I was still trying to get the taste out of my mouth. Ordered steak medium to medium rare and it came out cooked like a hockey puck. Could barely cut it with my knife and steamed vegetables were too hard to eat. Could not get our ticket fast enough to get out of there. Waiter was only nice when he bought us our ticket because he was trying to get a bigger tip, otherwise he was very inattentive. Asked for a manager and no one every came out so we just left. Save yourself and don't go here.

Old Food

Coconut Shrimp was just that, tiny little shrimp over cooked definitely not the juicy plump shrimp of old, definitely not a gulf shrimp. My steak had no flavor and wasn’t seasoned with that famous outback seasoning. The ribs were tender but again not much flavor. The meat tasted like it was on its last hour of its last day of the last special counter. I brought over half home but couldn’t bring myself to eat it…..Terrible

Love this place!!

5-19-24 Stopped in for dinner on my way home, it was delicious! I ordered the Alice Springs chicken. Had steamed broccoli which is always cooked to perfection! I had excellent waiters and the whole experience was great!! I recommend everyone to stop by the Outback in Gonzales! What great food, service and atmosphere! 😁 I forgot to take a picture of my food! But talk about it was good!!! 👍🏼

6-22-24 3pm Today my family stopped here to eat. We all enjoyed our food and service was excellent!! I always enjoy stopping here when out of town. Always a very pleasant experience!! Memorable. 😁 LAURA WAS AN EXCELLENT WAITRESS!!

Excellent food and fresh. Very comfy and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly service and smiling servers. Was very busy when we arrived but was taken care of quicker than expected. We have been here several times in the past year and happy to see some of the same faces each time. That means alot.

Way below Standards for this Chain.

This location of OutBack Steakhouse must have slipped out the back door. We arrived at 11:23 on Sunday morning, ordered and promptly received Coffee, sent it back as it was Cold, waiter said they don't and would not make coffee after a certain time ... duh ... they had been open for 23 minutes. when the Blooming Onion arrived it too was cold and tasted as if it had been cooked in too old and too cold grease. This was the first time we have received a bad meal at this unit of Outback. Maybe the boss was on vacation.

Great meal and Very friendly Staff

We stopped in for a quick lunch and had a Great meal. Most of the table got soup and salad of course with the wonderful bread. Everyone enjoyed themselves and along with the Great food and hospitality.

This is a great place to go alone on a date, or with your family. Dillon the assistant manager is amazing. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean. The food is great.

Wonderful Service Great Atmosphere

I took my grandson with me for a nice treat. We were greated by a wonderful waitress named jocelyn or jaqueline, I may have misunderstood her name. While we were waiting she offered to get our drinks, and was just one of the most pleasant people I have met. We had a very nice conversation, and found out she couldn't be our server because she was working in the delivery room that day. After I found this out it was an easy decision to place my order for pick up so that I could have her help me. She was just the sweetest person and I highly reccomend asking for her.

Went for a nice dinner. I like the service. Our server was especially attentive. My steak was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately my friend's wasn't. It was taken care of quickly and perfectly.
