Best Cracker Barrel Yet.

Stopped for lunch on way back home and hit pay dirt here. Pot Roast was off the chain tender, our waitress was a young lady you always hope for, the best. Thank you for the best service and Cracker Barrel meal to date.

Good Experience

Several of our family members were in Gonzales this week for a family funeral. Eleven of us went to Cracker Barrel on Sunday night for dinner. We had a very good experience. Our server was very professional & efficient in taking orders from so many people & getting the food delivered to our table all at the same time & still hot & delicious. We will be back whenever we're in Gonzales again.

Great place for lunch but service was bad. Took 45 minutes to get food and it was cold in no time. The bathroom was dirty and has poor lighting Also the lemon sticks were good but not like they use to be. I will NOT be back

This Cracker Barrel needs to be cleaned and food improved.

On friday, en route to Natchitoches, we stopped for breakfast. I got 3 eggs with a steak with grits . My eggs were supposed to be over medium, and they were runny. They tasted like they were cooked in water. I gave them to my wife, and she said they have a funky taste along with the steak I had. The only good was the waitress. The bathrooms were funky, and I tried to use the men's bathroom and slid all over the place. It was like someone poured grease all over the floor.

TWILIGHT ZONE EXPERIENCE

To be fair, the place was slammed. But even allowing for that, it was bad. Either our waiteess and kitchen staff were awful or working their first day. Our waitress name was unique , started with C I think. We sat outside. She brought my husband's coffee but no spoon to stir it. Only two cremers, two sugars. He starred it with his pen. We had to ask for silverware. She didn't ask if we wanted lemon in our water. The next table with a different waitresse got it with theirs. I ordered the Biscuit Sandwich which on the menu was pictured with a biscuit, tater tots and scrambled eggs. What I got was TWO FRIED EGGS AND TWO PIECES OF SOURDOUGH TOAST . NO TATER TOTS. She hadn't asked me how I wanted my eggs. Not having the menu any longer I asked if the breakfast was supposed to come with biscuits and she said no you had to actually ask for the biscuits. She brought two biscuits on a plate. Also, my husband had to ask her to bring salt and pepper after we started eating. It wasn't until after we left and I looked the menu up online that I realized about the tater tots and scrambled eggs. It was definitely a Twilight Zone experience.

Waited 1 hour for our food to come out after evening seated, the waitress seems prejudice like she didn’t want to wait on black people, they promised half off my meal hut only took $10 off. I will never return to any crackers barrels again.

Service was good. Restaurant was clean as most cracker barrels are. Food was out quickly and everything was excellent. Definitely a nice stop.

Great lunch

Stopped for a late Lunch. A bit of a wait on a Sunday about 1pm but the wait time predicted was right on point. Our server, Kamron, was attentive and timely with everything. The smell of the fried chicken took over my taste buds and I changed what I’d planned to order. So I had to order the Sunday fried chicken, two huge boneless pieces of white meat. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. The crust was so nice and crispy and the meat was so juicy. I was a Little disappointed the fried okra wasn’t piping hot but was only barely warm. However it didn’t keep me from eating it!

Waitress was rude

I was shopping alone so went there to eat. Table for one. Took a long time for waitress to come. when she came, I was ready to order. Never saw her again. Food took longer than usual. Someone else brought it. Finally waitress showed up, asked for ticket, to go box and drink to go. Her response was we only have one size to go box. Came with it. No ticket. Had to ask for it a second time. Her response was "Im going to get it." Guess only one person at a table makes a difference/ Talked to manager . Her response was guess she was busy. Understand that but you do not have to be rude. WOW!

The food is very good but you need to get there around 11:20 am if you want to eat there for lunch. The pork chops are very good.

This Caracker Barrel is consistent with the other Cracker Barrels throughout the USA. Nothing spectacular about the food, but consistent quick place to grab a bite on the road.

We were served promptly here, and the food was prepared perfectly. The restaurant was clean, the bathrooms were spotless. You can go through the Tangers Outlet to get here.

Always eat here when doing outlet shopping. We live in Australia around 10,000 miles away visited here 2014,2015, and this year 2019. Service is always good every year and this year the same as usual. The only complaint is the air conditioning particularly this year seemed a little too cold. So I really wouldn’t call that a complaint at all. Food great and love that country store . It is full of very interesting and surprisingly different stock.
