We ordered Shrimp Fajita it was good, could have a bit more vegies. The Sirloin Steak can be improved a bit. Smoke House Combo is OK. The server was absolutely great very attentive to detail.

Although not high on my list of restaurant chains, and after a long day on the road, I opted to stay close to my hotel and decided to give Chili's a try, rather than drive around looking for anything else.
Glad I did. Although busy, I was seated quickly and was able to enjoy a very tasty meal.
The smokehouse combo was excellent. I may have to check out more Chili's in the future.

Waited 10 min for table, not busy. Food was terrible, the place is very dirty, Chilis needs to step up and fix this place

Waitresses aren’t welcoming. Bartender is very rude, well to some “PEOPLE” Food is not up to expectations for a chili’s. My card was charged 3 separate times and I was promised it was corrected, but no one could provide me with refund receipts and just as I expected, all 3 of those charges went through. Can’t get anyone on the phone so now I have to travel 45 miles to visit them so this can be fixed. VERY INCONVENIENT!!! Chillis use to be my one of my favorite places to visit, BUT NOT THIS ONE. Thanks chillis but no thanks!!!

Did not stay to order. This restaurant is dirty and stinks terribly. I have been here several times. Short staffed. I have seen food all over the floor in the kitchen and dining areas.

Not all of these restaurants have good food, but this one in Gonzales was really good. We ate hamburgers and fries at the bar and they were delicious. The service was prompt and the food came quickly.

When my son and I arrived on 8/2/19 at approximately 3 pm there was no one to seat us. After approximately 4-5 minutes I had to actually walk into the middle of the restaurant to ask a server if there was somewhere for us to sit. We should have left then. 3 servers were in the same area, one rolled her eyes and walked away, another mumbled “I ain’t taking them I’m busy enough” as she walked away, and then a young lady named Ariel stepped up and said “Ma’am come this way I’ll be glad to help y’all”. Our waitress Ariel was phenomenal!! Could not have asked for better service from her. Our food took over an hour but she kept checking on us and apologizing. She deserves 5 stars!! Just one table away from us near the restrooms sat 4 employees who appeared to be on their break. Two of those were sitting there when we arrived and were still sitting there playing on their phones when we left 1.5 hours later. They must have much longer breaks than the average business. This may explain why our experience was so bad- so many sitting and playing on their phones while other employees struggled to keep paying customers satisfied. SAD!! Now the restaurant itself was dirty. The women’s bathroom was disgusting. Smelled like a portApotty. I passed by the kitchen prior to leaving and it was filthy. The food was ok but after seeing the condition of the kitchen I would not eat there again. On one of our entrees there were 3 small (1 inch) fried “things” that seemed to have just fallen onto the platter in the kitchen. They appeared to be some droppings of fried cheese that are not included on the triple sampler plate. They must have just fallen on the plate. What the heck? Being a nurse it really concerns me that a restaurant is allowed to sell food in such deplorable conditions. Wish I would have read the reviews prior to our visit because we would not have eaten there. I can see from many other negative reviews that the response to their reviews are apologetic and say that they will address these issues. Well my question is if you’re going to address these issues why are things getting worse instead of improving. Seems to me there is NOTHING being done to rectify the situation. So I ask you what is the plan to correct these issues? Evidently there is none. Don’t just say these issues will be addressed if there’s nothing being done. Pitiful management.

I had the 3 for 10 last Sunday the food was good.
I had a salad , chicken pasta and a large drink and it was 10 bucks.
To my surprise the food was very good and had a large portion.

We generally have avoided Chili's for the past four years, but decided to give it a try over fast-food choices during this trip.
Our experience reminded us why we stopped visiting. Our service was non-existent, and when a server brought food or 'checked on' us, the attitude was uncaring. I wouldn't say our food was delivered to the table, but better described as almost thrown at us. When our appetizer was flung on the table, it arrived without plates for sharing. The Southwest Egg Rolls were soft, mushy and lukewarm at best, presented in a disorganized mess like they had been dumped on the plate.
The only good thing about the experience was the 2-for-1 drinks. We won't be back here, and we're not anticipating another visit to any Chili's for a long time again.

We and another couple were passed up several times for a table. They sat four people in front of us and when we complained they did it again. The other couple asked for the manager. He was useless and made up lame excuses. Worst part was a even ruder waitress!! We left. We have been there several times but management must have gotten to a new low to allow their workers to act like this.

We were first of all welcomed with a rude hostess. You couldn’t understand her and she couldn’t even crack a smile because she had such an attitude.
My friend went to the bathroom and said not to use the restroom because it was so gross. I went in and right away saw used paper towels all of the floor. A tampon wrapper on the floor in one of the stalls and one of the toilet papers plastic cover was completely off with the roll of toilet paper laying on the floor.
My friend and I both ordered the Mex bowls. It came out with overcooked hard rice. The manager did come over and take it off our bill thankfully. The tables weren’t bussed and noticed maybe a manager coming out and doing it himself while the rude hostess just stood there and talked to him without helping him.
Chili’s won’t be getting our business again.

I can see why it is 70th! We stopped there because it was convenient. The waitress was great efficient and polite- the food was typical Chili’s - our area was ok but on the way to restrooms was very dirty - floors looked like days of no clean up and one look at kitchen area was one look too many! Restroom the same - terrible . Would never have stayed if we would have been seated on the main side

Located in Tanger Mall, a great location for locals and visitors to visit.
Weekends crowded, long wait times and average customer service.
Most food items are bland, disappointing and not in par with other Mexican restaurants in the area.
Plan to limit my trips to this Chili restaurant in the future.
Overall an average grade for this Chili’s.
