Finally the new, the first and the only vegetarian italian restaurant in Alona. Excellent food and wine in an elegant and pleasent friendly place. Our menù includes appetizers, main courses, second courses and desserts. We have a wide selection of italian wines, sparkling wines, prosecco and liquors. We wait for you!!

I am not a Vegetarian but to say that you don’t actually like Vegetarian Meals when you have never tried them is, well, a bit unfair.
So, I thought ….let’s give it a go!
Firstly the ambience of this restaurant is superb. Very clean. Nicely laid out tables. Attractive Decor and Design. Very attentive, pleasant staff and Management.
Our food was excellent. Full of flavour, good portions and tastefully presented.
Obviously, being a meat eater, I missed the meat but hey, this is a Vegetarian Restaurant ….so I can totally and highly recommend this lovely place to all you Vegetarians visiting Alona Beach.
The food was excellent value with quality ingredients, put together by a wonderfully creative Chef.
5 Stars and highly recommended.

Delicious vegetarian food with a varied and creative menu, everything was so well cooked. As a life long vegetarian I know how hard it is to find a vegetarian restaurant that ticks all the boxes. Some you leave feeling hungry others you leave feeling underwhelmed but not here I left feeling very satisfied and happy with my food and the service,
My partner isn’t a vegetarian but he also really enjoyed his meal and felt that it’s a great place to eat and try vegetarian food.

Half our family is vegetarian, half is not. It’s really hard to find somewhere in the Philippines that meets everyone’s desires.. and this place did!
Of particular merit was the 4 cheese gnocchi & tiramisu- amazing! They also serve a variety of vegetarian burgers, which my kids also loved.
Highly recommend & wish them all the best!

So happy that we came across this lovely vegetarian Italian restaurant! The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious. My friends and I were so excited to see plant based meat on the menu!! We tried the veggie nuggets which were incredible 😍 I also had the spaghetti bolognaise with soy meat and it was amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant

Last night we tried really interesting and tasty dishes at Luna Rossa like bowl with quinoa, vegetable rolls and chickpeas with coconut milk. Finally a very delicious mango panna cotta made with coconut milk so even lighter than the traditional proposal! We also met the owner, Marina, from Rome. Very nice person with whom it was very pleasant to talk to about living in the Island! We would also come back if the restaurant did not close on Wednesday nights.

Had a superb experience at Luna Rossa. They really have us a great service and the food (Lasanga and Bolognese) was very tastefull. The serve as a great example of how vegetarian food can be as good and better than non-veg food, by just putting in the effort. Warmly recommend a visit to this restaurant regardless of your dietary preferences!

I'm vegetarian and my Husband is a meat eater but in his words he enjoys great food.
The food here is delicious, we were in Bohol for 4 nights and ate here on our 2nd night, when it came to choosing a restaurant for our last night my Husband wanted to go back here! During our 2 visits we had the cheese platter for 2, the vegetarian skewers to start (shown in pic) and spring lasagna and arrabiatta for mains. All were delicious but the spring lasagna outstanding and very filling.
The service was excellent both times and we enjoyed watching the world go by with a table overlooking the road.
Even if you love meat don't be put off, the food is so tasty give it a try. I just wish we had a restaurant like this at home in Essex!

This place has fabulous food which is clearly made with love and care. The menu is relatively small to allow for expertly made dishes. The staff were also super helpful with which dishes were/could be vegan. We went back twice! Highly recommend for some delicious authentic Italian dishes.

We had a lovely meal here in Bohol. Lasagne and arrabbiata were freshly made and extremely tasty. The waiter was also professional and really cared that we enjoyed the meal. Highly recommended - hey it’s a thumbs up from the Bounty Hunter!

If you like fresh and real italian food there is nothing special on this one.
The lasagna doesn’t have too much taste and was more like a smash vegetables with a too thick besamel, same with the veggie burguer’s that they have.
I’ve been in Siargao eating fresh italian food and the difference of the products is huge!
Ps:
Nothing related with the food but we saw the behavior of the owner with the employees and was such a shame his way to treat them in front of the clients.

Hi...to be honest in this review my concern is not about the food...Im sorry that you didn't enjoy but ok...it can happen. But what you said in the end its absolutly unfair and false. After almost 5 years, my biggest satisfaction It is having built a wonderful atmosphere with all my staff. I stay by their side every day in armony and with respect. We all consider ourself like a small family....so I can say with no doubt that you're wrong with another restaurant or maybe you completely misunderstood what you may have seen.

We are not vegetarians, but we liked the look of this restaurant. We had to wait a little while for a table but it was worthwhile and we enjoyed a beer while we waited. We really enjoyed the Lasagne, spicy pasta and the desserts on offer here. Would recommend whether you are vegetarian or not.

We ate here yesterday and I love it. We have had some good meals in the Philippines so far and this by far was the best. I am not a vegetarian and it was still the best food I’ve had and great service as well. Would definitely recommend
