Our food and sevice was very good. But I was craving some traditional lime marinated crab seviche. What I got was basically a half avocado with some cooked dry crab piled on top. Very strange and not very good. What happened to your traditional seviche?
Small plates of chef's open-face grilled oysters and a tuna ceviche were great. Ask if paw-paw flan is available.
We always enjoy the bison empanadas as an appetizer but we’ve had the freshly made quac before and it was also delicious. The caesar salad here is probably my favorite in the whole city. It is so unique and good! My go to meal here...is always the halibut with the crab cigar. It goes well with the macadamia nut rice it’s served with. My Husband likes the skirt steak here but does NOT like the green sauce it comes with, he says it’s gross.More
We had a nice dinner here with friends. Not overly outstanding. But nice. The waiter gave us one drink menu which was extensive and came back three times asking if we were ready to order - which we said every time that we hadn't had...time to look at it as we only had one menu. Kind of strange. Anyway, dinner was good. Salmon, scallops--both nice. We had the avocado dessert. Really creative and good.More
The food service were both outstanding. Great drinks, atmosphere, and location. Everything in the menu is good. If you have room for dessert, the tres leches cake is a must!
We found Seviche to be an overall solid, fun night out. The food is above average, the service was attentive and friendly, and the crowd and atmosphere were lively without being obtrusive (I can see why this is an old favorite with the locals). If...I'm ever in Louisville again I would def go back.More
What a wonderful meal. From the service to the meal, Seviche is one of the best restaurants in Louisville. Try the chicharrones de calamari. Will knock your socks off!
Seviche is well known in the Louisville/Bardstown road corridor for vibran, varied offerings. We were seated promptly and enjoyed Kentucky Bison empanadas that came with avocado-jalapeno puree and pico de gallo and an incredibly tasty Pecan Crusted Brie that included house made preserves, habanero agave...nectar, and various berries. Some of the best brie I've ever had. Our entree choice was the grilled lobster "picatta"consisting of capelini, jalapeno-dill pest, and goat cheese. Impressive presentation and flavor. Dessert was Chocolate Tres Leches with orchata ice cream and abuelita chocolate sauce. Wow, what a delight. Our server, Chris, was pleasant, engaging, smart, and wasn't afraid to give us his favorite choices and timed our dinner perfectly. His helper, Natalie, was pleasant, attentive and made sure the plates were removed when finished and the drinks were topped off. An enjoyable Valentine's event. My wife and I have visited Seviche many times. On every occason, we've enjoyed excellence in every respect. It's a great place to drop in for a drink and a great place to enjoy a full meal. The owner is usually working in the kitchen....If you see him, you may recognise him from television. He is friendly and approachable. The manager is out front keeping everything running smoothly. I can't remember a glitch.More
We had a party of 8 celebrating a 25th wedding anniversary. The restaurant was informed 3 times about the celebration and never acknowledged it throughout their service. The waitress was luke warm friendly at best. We had appetizers that were delicious and half of us...had the snapper for dinner which was perfect. The other half of the guests had the scallop dinner. It was 3 small scallops. To say the least, it was disappointing.More
Good friends took us there, saying how great it is. We went last Friday evening, Nov 1. Appetizers good, but nothing remarkable, empanadas were not good. Even our friends said it was not up to par. Wife and I split a fish dish, was pretty...good, especially the rice with macadamia nuts in it. Not sure it is worth going back again.More

Been coming to Seviche for years, and this may have been the best meal ever. I had a Good Ol’ Chum (bourbon cocktail with Amaretto, red wine and lemon) and she had a French 75, both perfect. Shrimp ceviche and tuna old fashioned were fresh,...clean and delicious. Kale jalapeño Caesar was unique, and the skirt steak for the Churasco was phenomenal, tender and mouthwatering. Pesto was a good partner. Just a terrific meal. Even though there was a party of 20 in the room, the servers did a great job of taking care of everyone.More

We often dine here and picked Seviche to celebrate our anniversary this past weekend. While the food was on par, except the Caesar, which has been changed to Kale and should be removed from the menu. Service was another matter. While the hostess mentioned our...anniversary, that was the last of it. The manager walked around a lot but never asked us about our meal. Our server forgot our drinks, brought us the wrong drinks, and was pretty much missing in action. I almost laughed when he passed it off as being busy. Really? it is 7:30 on a Friday night and you know how many reservations you have. Of course you are busy. Deal with it so your patrons don't have to. The icing on the cake came when we left. Friends who knee it was our anniversary, texted us to see how we liked the drinks they sent over. EXCEPT, we never received them - they were apparently sent to the wrong table. Of Course they were. We won't be back. I can learn how to make a Pisco Sour.More
