Heard about this place when I googled best burgers in Louisville. Decided to try it out! OMG,. All I can say is get ready for a feast of a burger with a hipster environment. It was to die for.

We stopped in and at at this place and it was amazing. The food and service was great and made our visit to Louisville even better. I’ve never had a burger that good in my life!

This is a hole in the wall but we had read promising reviews. My husband got the Baxter and liked his. I got the mushroom burger but exchanged it for the veggie burger and left off the bacon. My burger was good but there was...an up charge which is an unusual. The buns were just plain buns. The regular and sweet potato fries were just ok. The Bunz fries, which were supposed to be funnel cake-like were very chewy and a weird texture but the flavor was good. Overall I’d go back if I was just getting the burger but wouldn’t get any sides.More

We were at the Louisville Convention Center and decided we wanted a burger, so googled a burger joint and ended up here. This hole-in-the-wall isn't much to look at, but there were many burgers to choose from and they were tasty!

Bunz Burger is never open according to their posted times. We have gone there a few times close to an hour before the posted close times, most recently Saturday 04/06/19. Time stated they would be open until 12am. We got there at 11:25pm. The door...was locked. Terrible customer service. If you don’t plan to be open then don’t post available times.More

As everyone else has mentioned, this place is a legit hole in the wall, almost too much so. I found the floor a bit sticky, the tables dirty, and the overall feeling that a roach would scatter across the floor. Don't let the chance of...germs scare you away, because a huge delicious burger is waiting for you. I got the Baxter Ave, and it was nothing short of a heart attack. I asked the cook if he could hook it up with a side of their beer cheese for a dipper and my fires, and he gladlyMore

Found this place here on TripAdvisor when we were passing through on a long road trip from Wisconsin to Florida. Definitely the "hole-in-the-wall" type of atmosphere, but the burgers lived up to the billing. We had six different sandwiches among us and everyone absolutely loved...it. Plenty of fries with your order...onion rings were fantastic...my kids loved the "funnel fries." Don't know when I'll be back in Louisville, but I'll be back at Bunz when I return.More

This place is literally a hole in the wall. You have to order the red state burger. It has jalapeños and pepper jack cheese and is very tasty! The burgers are huge and come with a generous portion of fries. You will not leave hungry.

May I suggest a plain cheeseburger. The meat is so tasty that condiments distract from the awesomeness. I did have the beer cheese it was a bit spicy so the clerk made me another. Would be back next time I visit Louisville.

I've tried lots of burgers around Louisville and Southern Indiana and only Game can hold a candle to these burgers. They are the best! Juicy and huge and cooked perfectly! The only negative thing I can say about this place is the service. Terrible, terrible...service. My food is never ready when they say it will be (usually 25 mins) and the online ordering app apparently doesn't work. I found that out the hard way when I showed up to pick up the order I was charged for and it wasn't ready. We had to wait an additional 45 minutes to have our food made. By that time I wanted to hate the food because the service was so bad but the food is outstanding. My advice is call in your order in advance. And get the Bunz sauce.More
