Had a not so stellar experience today at Enson Harbor. Let me set this up by saying I order old fashioned cocktails a lot when out for dinner. I also make them at home. It’s a very simple drink to make. 2 oz of bourbon,...1/2 ounce simple syrup, couple dashes of bitters. Mix with ice and strain in an old fashioned glass over fresh ice. Express a slice of orange peel over the cocktail, rubbing the peel around the edge of glass and then place the peel into the drink. Simple right? Not at Enson Harbor. What you get is a concoction of muddled fruit and booze in a cocktail glass. Not an old fashioned. They tried to remake the drink, which once again was an epic fail. I sent it back again. I wound up ordering a beer with my food. When presented with our check, the drink was still on the bill. I asked our server (Cammy was very delightful) to please take it off. She said she tried but was forbidden to remove it. I asked to speak to the Manager. A young woman came out, identifying herself as the GM. She proceeded to tell me her hands were tied due to investor rules. What?? Then the bartender comes out telling me she has made old fashioneds up and down “the levee” (whatever credibility that brings) and stating she knows how to make them. We bantered back and forth, and the bartender looked at the GM and told her, and I quote, “we don’t need their business anymore!” Ok, that is not a problem. We won’t be going back! Although I think the food is good, if you are touting a full bar, you better have someone that can make cocktails. An old fashioned is the most basic of cocktails and there are only two places in my life where I havr ordered one that had a disgusting pile of fruit in the bottom… The old Enson Harbor and the new Enson Harbor. By the way, the drink was finally taken off of our bill. 😉More

We had no idea that this was a type of Chinese restaurant. The name suggests another seafood restaurant. The menu is very limited. We each got a mini bowl and very glad that one of our party asked about rice because you had to order...that separate and pay more. There were no larger bowl options. There is only white rice and purple rice to choose from (actually black rice that when cooked looks more like purple). The meal comes out on a small snack size plate for $9.95. My sweet and sour chicken had 5 pieces of chicken with peppers, onions and pineapple chunks. Our friends' food came out and we waited for our food. That was very strange. We did order crab rangoon (which was very good) but it was too hot to eat when it came out with our friends' food. The drink selection is very expensive and doesn't include any non-sugar drinks except water. A flavored ice tea or lemonade was $5.95. We all had to opt for water. One friend ordered lo mein and hers came out first and was cold. She didn't eat it. We had to ask for spoons to move rice to the small plate. We had to ask for soy sauce. Two of our glasses of water were empty for most of the meal. Our waitress told us they have been open for 3 weeks. That is probably long enough to learn how to refill water glasses. We understand that this is a specialty restaurant...it's just too little for us.More

REOPENED July 21, 2023 as a Chinese Dim Sum restaurant. Opening night at this new CHINESE DIM SUM restaurant was Friday, July 21, 2023. Everything prior is old news. The menu was Chinese dim sum and pretty limited to that, which we didn't expect, since...we had seen a seafood restaurant menu online instead. So beware that this is a review for first public night open at a Chinese dim sum restaurant in an old Joes Crab Shack. My pan-fried, steamed pork buns were very good, especially when served with the appropriate sauce. There were pork belly Gua Bao (a taco of a steamed lotus roll, probably julienned daikon, and a green herb topping), which were very good, but needed to be trimmed of excessive fat before serving (not sure the chef agreed, but nobody wants to eat pure fat today). The deep-fried jumbo shrimp with broccoli came with a sweet white (perhaps coconut milk) sauce (house fruit sauce) over the shrimp... even when ordering it without. Food came out at sporadic intervals, which left my dining partner waiting until last to get food, an uncomfortable position, and the shrimp she ordered without sauce came out incorrectly covered with sauce and was sent back for correction, which extended the delay. She said she wouldn't return. There was no iced tea, and no Splenda (yellow artificial sweetener), which are my preferred beverage combination as a diabetic, and the standard fountain Coke tasted funny. Many of the other drink options were outside my comfort level. Gotta get that fixed. Service was attentive, and for a first night open, the waitress was fairly well aware of the menu. Was her name Destiny? The chef and the operations manager both dropped by for comments, which we offered. Three for now... four and a half if they get it together.More

Nice location to sit outside on a beautiful night. Service was slow and clearly not very knowledgeable. Food was good for the price. Definitely better than the Joes Crab Shack that use to be here.

The place has been called something else in the past , set up it very similar, menu is a little different but they still have the bag boils . The food we had was very good overall , my sons was very spicy but that’s...the way he liked it. The waitress was young and inexperienced but tried very hard . The girl who was at the hostess station was not welcoming at all, nor did she say anything as we left. The manager was visible but was not friendly , nor did a table check . Things to work on .More

My wife and I just returned home from dining and we both give it a very good. My wife had shrimp skewers and was ver pleased with the size, texture, and flavor. I had the boil with mussels, shrimp, clams, potatoes, corn on the cob,...andouille sausage in a garlic sauce, as recommended by our server. What an excellent choice. It was wonderful. If it would have been served with garlic bread to soak up the sauce, it would have been excellent. Something to think about.More

We made reservations for 6pm. They didn't have it. Thank goodness they had tables open. Our server was very nice. She informed us that they were in the process of updating the menu so some things were not available. Of course, our friend, Nancy, ordered...something that wasn't on the menu. I got the fish sandwich and broccoli. The sandwich didn't come with any sauce...very dry. Broccoli was good. My husband got the fish tacos and said they were ok. They have had better. Also, the adult beverages were just ok at best. We were disappointed and won't be back.More

we had a large group of people from our church and wanted to try something different from our usual restaurants. We had seen the building was in Bellevue and was close to our church in cold springs. There were 15 of us and when we...arrived, we were greeted with a smile and within a few moments we were sent to a table. Our waitress came and got our drink orders. Soon we were asked for any appetite orders, and it seemed only a few minutes we started to receive our appetite orders. We got our orders in and the cat robot came to our table with the orders we had placed and the food every one of us agreed, was awesome! we will be back for sure! thank you Tara C., for a pleasant time, for our church group, Orchard Terrace church of God.More

Our daughter and her family made reservations for 6:30 on Saturday evening. We got there a little early to have a cocktail before dinner. When we checked in the hostess asked if we reserved online. We had and she promptly informed us that online reservations...were broken and we would have to wait an hour for the next available table. Somewhat disgruntled we went to the lounge and tried to maintain a positive attitude because it was our 51st wedding anniversary. When the hour was up we went back to the hostess stand to ask if our table would be ready soon and she informed us that it would be at least another 45 minutes to an hour as the kitchen was "backed up". She did not apologize for any of this nor did she make any effort to accommodate us in any way. (a free cocktail would have been nice or a free appetizer). We decided to leave! (Even the bloody Mary was bad)!More

We were staying at a B&B and wanted seafood. We tried this new place. It was a stormy day and traffic was light. But, I had the Grouper which is my favorite fish and hard to find here. It was delicious. Our two servers were...great! My husband had a boil and loved it as well. We were pleased.More
