I’ve stopped at Ane Mae’s a few times while visiting Indy and have always been pleased with the results. The coffee is good and they make one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had.

Hubby and I stopped in for lunch on our way from Topeka, KS, to Tulsa, OK. What a quaint lil’ place. We had the Cuban panini and the Ham Your Way (served on cinnamon raisin bread with cream cheese - yum). Both came with chips...and iced tea. Delicious! And we bought a brownie for later...More

We had catering from Abe Mae’s - a veggie quiche and a bacon and cheese quiche plus blueberry muffins. They were fantastic. And what makes the establishment great is that they were brought to our house in their glass pie pans. They said we could...return them when we were done with them - only in small towns do they trust you like that. We go there for coffee in the morning but catering is great to use as well!!!More

Very good soup. Small sandwich. The muffins were delicious. I dislike paper plates and cups at a sit down (not fast food) restaurant. So points off for that. Felt it was expensive for what you get.

We tried several items plus the lattes and iced tea. I was impressed by my wrap on special, spinach wrap around turkey and bacon and cheese. Very Good. It took a while to get the food, so plan for that.

Small town coffee shop with big town service. For a quick bite or an afternoon pick me up. Relaxing atmosphere. In beautiful downtown Independence!

I have lunch here often. Consistent specials and sandwich, chips, and coffee run about $7.00. Friendly service. I wish their coffee special drinks were hotter.
