Real Italian Beef was excellent! Noisy bar atmosphere. Have to walk up a flight of stairs. Not very big. Would definitely recommend it to Italian Beef fans.

OK, the sandwiches were good, but the appetizers were better. Great cheese sticks and pretzels. Really, we got assortments, and they were all good. This was late after a Colts game, where the pretzels were dried out cardboard, but we really enjoyed our meal.
Where's the beef? If you think Italian Beef needs cheese, don't bother reading this review... Pre-Covid - Awesome. Grew up in Chicago, loving Italian beef. While Rush on Main wasn't as good as Portillo's, it was decent, closer to work, had reasonable prices and an...awesome atmosphere. Post Covid. The bread is crunchy and stale. Italian beef has suffered shrinkflation (there isn't any beef, seriously there just isn't any), food preparation and delivery are glacier slow, "innocent" billing mistakes resulting in overcharging are very obvious. Miniscule, cheap, embarrassingly small portions, constantly getting charged more for ordering water instead of beer or soft drinks (per their lunch special), exceedingly slow service, prices not in line with pricing of other restaurants - this was my last visit to Rush on Main. Today, I brought two new people that have never tried Chicago Italian beef, to Rush on Main. But, after today's embarrassing experience, they were not impressed. Slow food prep (not the fault of the waitress), hard/stale bread, most importantly - where is the Italian beef?, (portions were beyond cheap), but prices are exceedingly proud. Last week I brought 3 people to experience Chicago Italian beef at Portillos (off I65 in Merrillvile) for the first time- - it was an experience vastly superior to Rush on Main. Rush on Main used to be one of our lunch mainstays. But, due to food quality, shrinking quantity, prep time and cost - in the future, I will bring customers and coworkers to other establishmentsMore
OMG! The burger was sooooo BIG and soooooooo good! I would definitely come back, my family all greed...I did break a rule, I fingered my cup hole 🤦🏻
Don't order through Uber Eats. Ordered at 6 pm. They still had not started the order at 7:35. I don't know if they don't like Uber Eats or what. No way to follow up since they don't list any phone number or contact us button...on website.More
What a gem in downtown Zionsville. In the village. Rustic decor, friendly service, great burgers. Good place to have a couple drinks, catch a game and grab a burger.
Had a fantastic smash burger and the best house made chips I’ve ever eaten! The staff is super friendly. Nice atmosphere. This is destined to become my new favorite spot!
I am pleasantly surprised by how great this place was. Very nice location. Food was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.
Food was very good, and drinks too. Very reasonably priced. We had pitchers of beer for $16, mixed drinks, nachos, buffalo house chips, italian beef sandwich, chili cheese dogs, chicken sandwich. and pretzels with cheese sauce.Wished pretzels were baked and not fried. Hike up the...stairs is steep. Need an elevator on street level location.More
After reading the reviews, I went to Rush On Main looking forward to enjoying one of their great sandwiches. I liked the atmosphere. My husband wasn't enamored with it. I hoped a cold tasty beer and some delicious food would change his mind. The server...came around in a reasonable amount of time and took our drink order. Then we waited. The bartender was very busy... texting. How annoying we must have seemed, expecting her to sacrifice her valuable time pouring a glass of wine and a beer. :) Only two tables were occupied in the place, and no one was at the bar. We waited a while longer...then left. We then enjoyed great food and service in the bar at Stone Creek. And that bartender enjoyed a great tip!More
I came upon a wonderful Chicago-style bistro in the middle of Zionsville, IN. The roast beef sandwich was fabulous: plentiful, moist and delicious. The hoagie roll and hot peppers were a great addition. As if this wasn’t enough, the house made chips were plentiful and...deliciously seasoned. If you want a great taste of Chicago minus the traffic visit Rush on MainMore
My friend was waiting for me and another friend so she ordered an appetizer. I arrived a half hour later and she hadn’t received it. The waitress admitted she forgot about it. We went in Wine Wednesday and they didn’t have our first choice of...wine chilled so we ordered a different bottle. When we finished that one, we wanted to order the same one. They didn’t have it chilled but she said she’d put ice in our wine. What? Who drinks wine with ice in it? Blah. Food was overpriced but was pretty good. The chips were addicting!More
We had a great time, College Basketball on all the TVs, food was excellent and so was the service. Lots of craft beers and variety on menu. A+++++ MARCH MADNESS!!!!!
Very nice, caring server. Otherwise: floor shook when people walked by, music was too loud to easily converse, basket of the house chips (salty/savory) was too salty ($5), food was overpriced: fish tacos were ordinary and for $8.50 and two small tacos was disappointing, tilapia...fish was bland, husband's "da beef" sandwich was ok, but for $9.00 without a side was overpriced.More
Absolutely love the fish tacos and the wings. Usually a place like this does not have good gluten free options but these are amazing! My husband likes the Da Beef dog. Only draw back is the limited seating options with chair backs. My husband has...back issues and prefers a chair with a back which are limited during higher volume times. Not an option for disabled or wheel-chair bound.More
