Affordable and good food. Customer service was good. Small restaurant, and I honestly wasn't expecting much. It surprised me, to say the least. I had the breakfast special, which consisted of eggs bacon toast and hashbrowns. Stop in and enjoy. I would visit again if...in the area.More

This was a very good choice for a simple, home-cooked meal. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I think I'll go back just to see what vinegar pie is like. Great pork chop and mashed potato meal.

We stopped for a quick dinner on our way to a soccer tournament. We were amazed at the prices. My husband had a ribeye steak, has browns and a good size side salad for $7.49. I had a turkey/cheese club with macaroni salad and chips...for $7.49. It included a drink. The steak wasn't super thick but tasty. The service was pleasant. The restaurant wasn't super fancy and only had about 12 tables but they breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Breakfast served all day. Huge pie selection but we didn't have time for a piece. The offered a drink to go. Great place to stop.More

Nice place to get a meal in Rushville. I was out on the motorcycle and came across this little place. Fairly small but very clean and wait staff served me very quickly. I'll stop by again when in the area.

TASTE & SERVICE make beauty of this place. Had the best "homemade" VEGETABLE SOUP, I've had in a long time. The tenderloin, that came with it for $6*, was unsurpassed in flavor. "LOCALS" told me about this place, and they knew what they were talking...about.More

We read some good reviews so chose to stop here on a road trip for breakfast. Eclectic, fun decor. Pleasant waitress and quick service. Very good coffee and generous portions. Tip: an option of one or two pancakes? Pick one! They're 10" diameter!

Had to have a fried pork tenderloin sandwich while in Indiana. Surprisingly, you can't get them in other states like they are made there. Get the small sandwich unless you are really hungry. The large one covers a whole dinner plate.

Great local diner for breakfast or lunch. The food is excellent; however, the wait staff can be slow depending on the day.

This spot is truly a corner restaurant. It is located on a corner in downtown Rushville. Across the street is a giant mural of Wendell Winkie who ran for president. He is buried in Rushville. The restaurant is not fancy and you can get breakfast...all day. Except they run out of biscuits and gravy each morning around 10:00am. We ate on a Saturday at lunch and the place was full. I had a cheeseburger and my wife had a club sandwich. Both came with fries. Both were quite good. Prices were unbelievably reasonable. Service was quite good. This is obviously the spot where the locals eat!More

Very unimposing, this little cafe is the best in town. I've tried them all, and no matter what I get, it's great. Today, as before, we had the greatest server, who even helped us decide what to choose to order. I opted for the "Grilled...Cheese + Chili," and was well pleased. Being from the Hoosier, in ancient times, I'd not had chili like this for "too long," & will return for more. Breakfast have been my meals here, passing thru here, but today it was later.More

This is where locals congregate in Rushville - to say it is quaint is an understatement but the regional residents love their little diner and meet there frequently just to catch up and get a good cup of coffee and a decent meal at a...fair price. And you can look right across the street at the huge muriel of presidential hopeful Wendell Wilkie in all his glory as he seems to rise up from the sidewalk raising his hat to youMore

This is a great spot for the locals! A nice "hole in the wall" type place you will enjoy. It's a small local business with decent food and the portions are great for the price. I definitely enjoy the fact you can get a "basket...combo" that includes a drink (tea or coffee) and an extra side item. You get many of the same people who hang out here but they are all pretty friendly.More
