The restaurant’s parking lot charged a $10 valet so we decided to park along Massachusetts Ave for $1.75/hour. It was less than five minutes to get to the Livery.
We liked the modern look and while we were early there were still quite a number of diners already inside. It was almost full before we wrapped up.
We had a great server who was very personable and had good recommendations.
The ceviche was full of halved shrimps, tomatoes, and topped with tortilla chips. It was a light and delicious.
The plantains were even better with the chopped white onions. That was a surprise pairing we’ve not tasted beforehand.
The steak empanadas were savory and our favorite of the two threesomes we ordered. There was a little excess oil that could have been removed prior to plating or let drain longer after frying.
The pork chop was another great choice. Thick and still on the bone the sauce was so good plus the fried sweet potatoes were a great side.
Overall a great meal in a nice environment. If only less oil then could’ve been a five circle.

Really fun spot, walkable from the main circle downtown on a nice day. We walked in with no reservation at 6:30-ish on a Friday night and were told it was an hour and a half wait but bar seating was open. We snagged two chairs instantly. Husband ordered the "What Aren't We Going To Do?" cocktail and really enjoyed it. We shared the Lamb Mofungo as an app, VERY good. We then ordered the Steak Empanadas and Red Drum for entrees (we always share). The empanadas probably could have used a bit more seasoning or spice, dipping sauce was nice though. The Red Drum was the star of the evening. Perfectly seasoned, balanced and the Drum cooked to perfection. I could have eaten four more of that dish! Sadly we don't live here so I hope that stays on the menu! Overall great experience. Try to get a reservation if you know you are going in advance or have a bigger party for sure.

Most people i know feel that one of the most important parts of any vacation is to visit really great restaurants. Trip Advisor did not let me down in helping us find the gem. We had difficulty trying to schedule reservations online but they were very accommodating returning my call and fitting us in. We enjoy finding the most unique places and the Livery fits that definition perfectly with its history, décor, and design. Our waitress fit right in with our small group and added a lot of fun to the evening. Yet, the best of all was the food. The menu is very original, Primero, Segundo, Empanadas, Ensaladas, all delicious; and don't stop there, the desserts are a must. We can't wait to come back.

The restaurant is quite a nice place, super noisy but ok, that’s the style
So we can already say that it's off to a bad start. I take the 11 dollar drink, it's infamous!
No kidding! afterwards it's like drinking the bark of a tree but for 11 dollars maybe there are people who will like it but for me it's no!
Besides, I see at the next table that people have not finished their drinks (as you can see in the photos)
Positive point for serving people he brings a small portable table he places all the trays on it and waits for the waiters to be numerous enough to serve everything at the same time which is rare.
I've seen it in very few places, even in France, but what's a shame is that they put the portable table in front of the entrance, so if someone wants to go to the bathroom or go to the bar, well, that's not the case. not possible they can set the table elsewhere....
Wooden chairs so not at all comfortable but it goes with the style of the restaurant so why not I'm sure we can find better than these kinds of garden chairs...
The dish now
The dish is tender and spicy, but it's the quantity, there's really little on the plate (as you can see in the photos) and yet I'm not a big eater
Negative point also the people who clean the tables instead of throwing the crumbs in their hand they throw them on the floor... Yes yes You read correctly! suddenly there are crumbs on the floor of the floor as you can see
The desert as for apple cake Largely forgettable on the other hand we will not forget its price...
Total of the evening 60 dollars for one person and without entry we're not going to lie it's overpriced...
Positive point the decor is correct and very American made
Positive point the waiting time even though I am not alone I only waited 8 minutes

Had wanted to try it out for a while since he revews are so amazing and we love southamerican and spanish food. The restaurant called about 6 hours prior to our dinner to confirm our 6:30 pm reservation fo 3, and texted at 6:24 that our table was ready. However, when we arrived at 6:28, the hostess seemed confused and entered a lenghthy debate with a colleague and left us standing there for several minutes. No explanation, no apology. She then walked us to a dining room table even though we had requested a table outside. It was a perfect summer evening so of course a huge disappointment, we immediately asked, but she just shrugged and said patio seating was unpredictable and couldn't be reserved and when we asked if we could wait for a patio table she said it was completely unpredictable since people tended to linger, she couldn't give an estimate and didn't give us the option to wait. The table she gave us was right next to a family with a toddler and a baby around 6 months old who started screaming right after we said down. Fortunately the mother started breastfeeding after a few minutes and the screaming stopped, but the dining room was still extremely loud. Not the flair or ambiance described on the website. More like a basic diner. Our server did a good job explaining the menu so we had renewed hopes that our dinnr would be good. The ceviche was fine but its difficult to ruin a ceviche. The 3 main dishes were not good. Our server had confirmed that the paella could be served not spicy but it was very spicy. Paella should never be spicy! The dish didn't resemble paella in any way, not the texture, no saffron, no paella taste, very spicy. My mom didn't enjoy it at all and only ate half of her small serving. It looked so unappealing to me I didn't want to try it when she offered. Our server didn't ask. The skirt steak and the fish tasted ok but the dishes were both very oily. Tiny sides (2 small yuca fries and 2 mall plaintain fries) If you have been to Latinamerica or Spain don't come here, you will be very disappointed. Hugely overpriced also.

We ordered the empanadas which tasted like it had freezer burn. The paella was good but not great. The server did not check back when our drinks were empty. When we told him about the empanadas, I explained that it wasn’t like what I had gotten in Costa Rica and Belize, his reply was “well we serve food from Latin America, so it will be different “. It’s not worth the hype, there are better choices.

based on reviews here we ventured out for a nice dinner while driving through town. It was out of the way, from our hotel but we had high hopes and were not disappointed. Latin fueled, with plenty of heat if you want it, and a nice cocktail list as well. We were very impressed with all aspects of the menu, do not miss the cauliflower it really is as great as everyone says. And Paige, our server was great.

The Livery has a very nice, although a little dark, atmosphere. Our server, Tori, was very efficient and attentive offering many helpful dinner suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our dishes, but I was most impressed with the paella. Though it wasn't prepared in the traditional style, the flavor was the best I have tasted in a very long time.

Been trying the Cunningham Group restaurants. Many favorites but won’t be back to this one. The wait staff service was attentive and professional. The cauliflower starter was delicious (enough to share with two). My paella main course was not very interesting. I had to ask for some lime to jazz it up. The blondies at the reception station were unprofessional. Two of them started talking about me while I was still standing there. Quite rude. Valet parking is a nice benefit, and the parking attendant was very helpful.

Livery was recommended to us by the front desk at our hotel (Bottleworks). The Carriage House margaritas were amazing as was the food. We shared the street corn, which was melt in your mouth then for entrees, I had the skirt steak and my partner had the Mahi tacos. The skirt steak was awesome. The tomato crema sauce made me want to lick the plate. It was served with fried polenta and broccolini, both of which were also delicious. My partner said the tacos were also very good. We sat at the bar and the service could not have been any better.

Livery has great decor, outdoor seating available, a solid drink selection with tasty Latin inspired cuisine. The spicy chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious! It was spicy with a crispy outside and tender juicy inside. I washed it down with a nice cold cider. Overall, Livery is definitely worth a visit for a pleasant meal if in the area.

Third time and it was amazing! Ronda, the GM, greeted us and made us feel welcomed. We were there during the Savor Indy, and the menu was outstanding. It featured several of their top food items and was a great introduction to what they have to offer. I’m still very partial to the Green Chili Lamb. A tastebud explosion! YUM!! So glad we found this restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit!

Such a fun dinner out and loved the atmosphere and everything tasted so good. Each bite was so enjoyable.
We started with Sweet Plantains with black bean purée, poblano crema, a habanero-guajillo sauce, pineapple slaw, and Cotija cheeses. These are a must and so good.
For Dinner we ordered two dishes and split them. We went for 4 (standard 3 and added +1) Corn Empanadas with jalapeño crema and some kind of kale garnish. I just put it all in there and started eating and adding some more of the jalapeño crema sauce as I went. The Empanadas were perfect and I was not disappointed.
We also ordered 4 (3 +1) Pork Belly hard shell corn tortillas with a black bean purée, bbq sauce, lettuce, pickled red onion, and a poblano crema. Loved the pork belly and especially liked that it as not loose pulled pork but more of solid fried pieces.
We were celebrating a promotion so went all the way through for dessert. We chose the churros for dessert. They were hot and fresh and that powdered sugar just set them over the top.
Totally recommend and hope we get a chance to eat here again!

Well let's start off by saying great looking space/atmosphere, we waited roughly 5 minutes to be seated (party of 4 at 7pm Monday evening), we sat upstairs on the patio. First table touch was quick and drinks came on time. Now for the food and what made their hospitality spot on was my dietary restrictions during this time. I spoke with the waiter about me choosing to eat vegan and gluten free and MAN-O-MAN did they deliver!! From the cauliflower, to the watermelon Aguachile (vegan) and plantain tacos!!! I will gladly come back to this eatery again and again! I was told by the rest of my group that the corn empanadas and pork belly tacos were out of this world!! For cocktails I was told the Tamarindo was king of the evening...yes I was not drinking either. Give this place a try and sit back to enjoy an amazing experience, Cheers!!
