We have ordered carry-out and prior to Covid eaten at the restaurant several times. I would generally give the food 5 stars most of the time. We ordered a carry-out of 2 Quiche with fruit & muffin which is only served on Sundays. The quiche was interesting as it is made with chicken rather than bacon or sausage. The serving size was adequate unlike some locations that serve meals large enough for two instead of one. The over all flavor seemed a little bland. It could have done with something to provide more flavor like a hot sauce perhaps on the side. A side of bacon or sausage would be recommended for this dish. We chose the fruit, instead of potato, which was just a taste with fresh cut grapes, melons and pineapple. If you were hungry I'd go with the potato. The muffin was very filling and had good flavor. It is a keeper. The quiche, muffin, butter and fruit were loose in one container which made the fruit warm. It would have been nice to have the fruit in a seperate cup. We warmed up the quiche at home in a toaster oven. It was warm when we picked it up but we like our food served HOT. This is a problem with any carry-out Total price for two with taxes, $19.44 for two meals.

Don Hall's has sixteen (16) different venues scattered across Fort Wayne. For me, the number of business being operated through this company reflect a positive testament to their success in doing food and drink right as well as treating their customers well. Four of us headed to the Tavern At Conventry on a Saturday noon. The Tavern is located in the Southwest quadrant of the city. They are located in Conventry Plaza at the intersection of Highway 69 and 24 (West Jefferson). Access to this restaurant is easy. They have plenty of free parking immediately surrounding their building. They were not terribly busy upon our arrival and we were given immediate seating. Coincidentally, some of our relatives were already seated and eating when we arrived. The staff was only too happy to pull another table over so that we could join them. Our waitress was quite affable. She quickly took and provided our beverage orders. After studying the comprehensive lunch menu, we made our selections which were in front of us in no time. We had their Fried Haddock Fillet sandwich with fries, their Broiled Hamburger Deluxe with cole slaw, their Vegetarian Skillet (an omelet with tomatoes, green onions, peppers, spinach, black olives, feta cheese, has browns and an English muffin), and a Chicken Sriracha sandwich (grilled & blackened chicken breast with grilled onion, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, lettuce and sriracha mayo) with fries. I had the last, finding the chicken tender and moist. The sriracha mayo was fairly mild with just the hint of a kick. The fries had a light coating on them and were flavorful. Although we had stopped at the Tavern in the past, we were always just at the bar for beverages and conversation. This was our first try at their food. The relatives that we met at the Tavern shared that they actually have been coming here once a week or, at least, every couple weeks over the past many years. A reflection that they enjoy this location and their food. We too had a good experience and no complaints with our meal. We will certainly be open to returning.

The first night of our arrival in Ft Wayne, we reserved a table. walked from our nearby hotel and had a lovely meal. Excellent service. Lovely bottle of Paso Robles from a rather extensive wine list. We ordered three appetizers: fried cheese curds, onion rings and potato skins; all of which were delicious! A "strawberry fields salad" was wonderful as well. Everyone enjoyed their entree course: Prime rib, filet mignon, seafood "sinful" pasta were great! In addition to sharing all the appetizers, the 7 year old gave thumbs up to the waffle fries and chicken fingers! I was wishing we had a longer stay in Ft Wayne so I could revisit and dine there again! Lots of great choices!

Went here on my birthday and the Prime Rib was very bad and overcooked. I received the usual offer to bring me a new one; but I do not like to waste food; so I tried to eat some. Usually the prime rib here is good, which keeps us coming back. But, I must have been served the bottom of the pile. It was horrible and ruined my day. The waitress noticed I did not eat the steak and only offered me a box. I did not get a second chance to have her bring me something edible. I left very hungry.

Had a great waiter tonight my husband’s broiled fish dinner was terrific my chicken sandwich was good, the gumbo and onion rings were yummy too. We will come back when we are in the area. It was our first time here and while it was more expensive than places we usually go, it was well worth it.

My wife and rather large family went here the night before my cousins wedding expecting a great night. Long story short, the waitress kept putting us off stating “hold on I have other things to deal with” and “Just hold on… I am new”. After sorting through cold food, empty drinks, and other mistakes, the bill came with almost eighty dollars in gratuity that was placed on one persons check. The manager was called upon and was also a disappointment with her rather negative attitude. We tried discussing the issues we had and they basically said “well I guess you should have found a different restaurant”. Let’s just say this waitress walked away with gratuity that was not earned.

We have had a couple of meals here during our trips through Ft. Wayne. The bar like atmosphere is nicely done. We have dined here for a business meeting and prior to leaving the city heading home. The atmosphere is that of a quaint dark wood toned English restaurant. It is nice nothing extrodinary but a comfortable place to dine. We have tried their Tavern Salad, Open faced Prime Rib Sandwich and the Reuben. All were very good. The service was good as well. Overall this is a nice place to eat and talk. We would definitiely return for a visit when in the area. Our ratings for this place would be: Romantic appeal 3 stars Food 4 stars Atmosphere 4 stars Renown 3 stars Service 3 stars Value 4 stars This averages to 3.5 stars and we will round up to 4 stars. Nice quiet place to enjoy your company.

The service was courteous and attentive. The meal was disappointing. I had the French onion soup, which was fairly good. I ordered the scallops, which were devoid of flavor. The fried spinach was good. The carrot cake was heavy and unimaginative, with extremely sweet but uninteresting frosting. The decaf coffee was about as usual. It would have been a fairly acceptable meal at half the price.

This restaurant was very close to our Holiday Inn Express, so we could have walked. My friends have been here before and it's one of their favorites. While the food was good, the service was slow. My friend was in a hurry for a meeting and thought we'd be able to make it in time. Not to be, however. In all fairness it was very busy and there didn't seem to be enough servers. We sat at a table in the bar, so that could've been it, too. I did love my little burger sliders and they were delicious! However, the server had not asked any of us how we wanted our burgers cooked. Fortunately, they turned out ok. I liked the almost European ambience and the multi levels - reminiscent of trips to the U.K.

Well it was rough start with a good finish here. I had some issues with this restaurant at first. I notice a speck of dried food on one of my fork, I stopped completely and will not eat off of dirty silverware...I do not know if it was just the set I got or the whole restaurant Next, I tasted my lemonade, I do not know what that was...more like water with a lemon squeezed in it, I told my waiter to bring me a Sprite instead. then as I felt my table, it had a sticky feel to it. I immediately moved to the empty table next to me salad and drink and all. My waiter asked me what was wrong and I told him what I just wrote. He say I could use the new table silverware, which was better. I ate part of my salad...a little dry for my taste but it was good. I ordered the crusted pecan chicken with wild rice and a baked potato. The food was great. This what saved this restaurant from a bad review from me. IF the restaurant gets the cleaning and lemonade issue corrected I will give them a better review.

Went with my son (a local). Great experience! Feels like a London pub. Upscale but comfortable. Great service.Food is goodifnot memerable. Portions are huge.Wife had the croissant with lots of turkey and cheese. Took homehalf. Sonand daughter-in-law had burgers which they enjoyed. I was the winner with a salad with tons of chicken, mandarin orange slices and enough lettuce to feed the rabbit population of Australia. It was excellent. Chispy potatoes seemed a little out of place but worked perfectly. Price tag was very reasonable. A great experience.

Tavern close to the hotel we stayed at, making it very convenient. It looks like an old pub, dark wood, warm and cozy (it was snowing and windy). Sat at the bar and was waited on right away. I ordered a beer called Hoosier Red Ale by Quaff On. It was cold and delicious! I ordered a burger and it was a difficult choice as there were several delicious choices. The burger came with homemade fries and baked beans. Hubby had soup (potato) and a salad. My only complaint would be the bar stools, they needed a back. My back got tired as I had no support.

Just random choice from many choices at this exit. Chose the shrimp which came with some AMAZING flash fried spinach - the only way it should ever be served IMO. Also had the Bleu burger which was good; the baked beans were also AMAZING! The fries could have been crispier. Service was good; it was Margarita Monday. So glad we stopped here.

Got a prime rib melt. I expect it to be the ends grilled and made a sandwich. I did not expect it to be dry and the the bread to be that grease soaked. French fries were cold. Just sad for what it could have been. The Makers Mark was good! The people I was with got full heavy meals. They said they liked it. They had the chicken parm and the other the triggerfish. I guess I should have to. I didn’t know you can screw up a sandwich. Again to reiterate the Makers was good.
