Ate at high top in bar, which we preferred to the regular dining area as it seemed a bit more congested than our space. Our table was right against the window, so nice view, but you could also feel like you're on display to the...outside if you are looking to avoid that. Chips were salty, but good. Provided 2 different salsas. Red was good, but nothing special. It was not chunky and some might think it overly mild. Green was really good with a little kick added. to it. I could eat an entire jar of it with chips and be happy. Never had sopes before, but very much enjoyed them. Seemed like a thicker fresh tortilla for a base with a blend of veggies, salsa, and cheese on top. Would consider ordering them again. Rice on side was OK. Wife did chile relleno, which was tasty and well prepared. She said she would definitely order it again. Liked her sides of rice and black beans, but thought the black beans were better. She also had a skinny spicy margarita, but said she would not get it again. Thought it tasted fine, but was primarily ice and not worth its price tag. Most of menu is more expensive than typical mexican fare, but food did seem better than typical mexican fare. Service was fine, no problems but not necessarily anything remarkable.More

Honestly, Taco Bell is a better option and I don't eat at Taco Bell! Generic, unappetizing food, definitely not Mexican.

We have begun to regularly eat at this delightful restaurant because we want to try everything on their menu. Flautas, tamales, burritos…..everything is fresh, interesting, and a delight for the taste buds. Not to mention the best margaritas anywhere! I must add the service level...is great, especially Edgar, who goes the extra mile for every customer.More

We visit the Carmel location quite often and have always felt comfortable with steps taken by the staff to properly clean and sanitize tables and chairs. That was until yesterday. While dining outside (beautiful outdoor area) after a couple dining near us left, a male...server came to clean the table. We were there long enough to notice that both diners ate and drank. One diner unwrapped the napkin around the dinner ware, one did not. When the server cleaned the table, he accidently knocked over a salt shaker. The shaker fell in the dirt in the landscape. He made no effort to pick it up. When he set the table he brought ONE set of dinnerware and left the other one there. The previous diner most likely wiped his wet or greasy hands on the rolled up napkin. When I left, I walked into the landscaping and picked up the salt shaker and handed it to the hostess. I let her know what happened and asked that the salt be dumped and shaker cleaned. The area where the shaker fell is frequented by birds and all that entails. Care must be taken to replace EVERYTHING on a table after guests leave. Maybe Covid is going away, but we can't drop our guard. Very disappointed.More

My mom and I went here after the Indy 500 and what a mistake that was. Our server was clueless. I asked for lettuce and cheese with my fajitas, which weren't brought out with the food. After sitting there for ten to fifteen minutes, she...walks by and we tell her that we didn't get the lettuce and cheese. She apologizes and then when she reappears, she heads out to the patio tables. Then she disappeared again. She waited on the table behind us while we still waited! By the time I got my lettuce and cheese (which only filled two fajitas) and ate, the food was lukewarm and I was pissed. Two of the four tortillas that she gave us were undercooked and tasted like flour. The server never asked my mom if she would like a refill for her soda. She was beyond inattentive or poorly trained. I think it is the first! When we left there was nobody to talk to about our experience. I liked the architecture but that was about it. Oh, and it is WAAAAY overpriced for the service and food. I would like a refund, but doubt that anyone would reach out. I saw the complaints on Google, and the management didn't apologize to one diner. Not smart to show no concern for upset customers.More

We dined here this evening (Monday night) for the first time and the interior was nice and contemporary which was a welcomed change from the typical wild color scheme most Latin restaurants have. We would have liked to sit on the patio but it was...full so they sat us at a table that was near the restroom and every time someone flushed the toilet you could here it throughout the restaurant so we asked to be moved. They moved us to the other side of the restaurant which had its own set of problems because it was near the server station and kitchen so that is where all the staff congregated and were loud and unprofessional. Then as if that wasn’t bad enough they brought out tubs of silverware that they needed to wipe off and the staff they had doing that was just slinging them into the tub so that was loud and annoying. We complained to the manager and he didn’t do anything about it. They had half priced margaritas so we ordered them and it was awful so we sent it back and again the manager came to the table and said he could make us another one but couldn’t remove alcohol from the bill. Seriously! We endured our meal but there was nothing enjoyable about this experience. The server was really nice and apologetic about her manager’s behavior so we don’t fault her at all. It’s too bad because this place has potential. They certainly need to get rid of this manager. Then you had employees who were not even working and in street clothes not appropriate for being in the restaurant hanging out in the server station and kitchen. Just a horrible experience. We definitely don’t recommend this place. They won’t last long in Carmel with management like this because they won’t put up with itMore

Up scale Mexican food. They obviously use all fresh ingredients. Expect to pay more but it’s worth it.

I did a doordash delivery from Los Arroyos. Completely taken back. I made one mistake. I ordered too much. The servings from here are huge and delicious. I will cut my order in half next time and will probably have enough, Can hardly express how...satisfied I was with my delivery: large servings, fresh quality, guacamole green - unlike some places which serve brown guac, a taco that was actually delivered crisp - almost unheard of from other Mexican restaurants. I have tried delivery from several Mexican restaurants in the are and was always disappointed - not this time. Give it a try.More

We had spent the day at Coxhall Gardens and wanted to go out to eat, so we tried here. I'm so glad we did! FANTASTIC food--very fresh and delicious (I particularly liked Mama's Salad). Great outside dining (with heaters), excellent sanitation and social distancing. The...margaritas looked fantastic, and we will definitely be back.More

Impressive food and service. The top shelf guacamole was great, nice home made chips, salsa could use little salt and lime but fresh. Chicken dish was white meat. Overall very happy and content with this first time try. Would definitely go back and recommend!
