We have eaten here before but the quality of everything has improved. Our waitress, Madeline c. Was exceptional as was the food. I think the wine selection is overpriced, but it is an exceptional selection of the best quality wines, and that is why you...go to this restaurant. Good choices, and quality delivery!!More

Had dinner here with family after working up an appetite walking around the Christkindlmarket. Service was great. Delicious Erbazzone, rich, flavorful Pansotti and husband finished his Frutti di Mare with a smile. Great menu and a memorable experience.

The atmosphere is inviting. I understand during good weather you can play or watch Bocci ball. I would really appreciate that. It is clean and the parking is reasonable. If you are visiting the local hospital it is a close respite. The waiter seemed to...really know his stuff. He was quite friendly and gave good advice on the wine. He did not steer me only to the most expensive wine on the menu. The pasta special of the night was tasty. Papparedelle with seafood, sun dried tomatoes ,artichoke hearts and a light cream sauce. When I asked about the potion size I was told it is a "good size" What does that mean, When I asked for him to explain I still got no where. I really hate that. Show it to me with you hands, say it is about 3 cups or whatever. One person's idea of large or good size or even small may not be another person's. Please be more objective and less subjective!!!! --- sorry this is a pet peave. Cloth napkins / dish towels are used ( a plus) and a bottle of still water is placed on the table ( another plus) The cannoli was good. However if 2 people are sharing 2 cannoli bring an extra plate. It also comes with whipped cream This is a minus. Cannoli does not need whipped cream. THe bus boy also cleared the table while we were still eating without asking if we were done with the dishes. (Another common practice in restaurants that is a pet peeve). Overall it was a good experience and one that I would repeat.More

Place was awesome. The team was great, the home made pasta was fantastic - peppers and sausage. Definitely heading back when we are back in Indy.

Had dinner here quite a few times. Service and food are always terrific. Very good wine list. Highly recommend the Arancini appetizer and the Tagliatelle al Convivio.

We keep giving Convivio another chance because we live nearby and go out often, but we continue to be disappointed. We ordered two pizzas last night and one was completely black on the bottom, while mushy and undercooked on the top (with some pieces of...cheese not even melted). We recall being told by the restaurant that some black crust was typical for pizza this style, but the other pizza we ordered was not black at all. And, quite honestly, burned crust just doesn’t taste good.More

We enjoyed the Pansotti with shrimp. It was delicious. Service was excellent and the bread served was just average. Dessert was delectable creme brûlée. Every item is made fresh (including the pasta) on site. Restrooms were amazingly clean and well decorated. We will return.

Excellent food and terrific service! Nice atmosphere clouded by Local Covid Overreaction, but still a good place to go. Wonderful menu and great prep as well as service appearance.

I ate here alone tonight. Very good.! I am a food snob. I’ve traveled this country and a few others eating my way through the best of food cities. I cook better than average and can and have made almost everything that I enjoyed here....A seafood antipasti, calamari, octopus, shrimp and zucchini sticks. All flavored well and all cooked well. Presented with a dipping sauce. The sauce was not overwhelming, which allowed the quality of the foods to shine. I can’t really describe the sauce, reddish in color, close to a marinara but with subdued mellow flavor. Next was a Cesar salad, fresh with a traditional flavor, with a bit of a twist. I thought I tasted a hint of berry flavored balsamic, raspberry? There was a generous portion of shaved cheese, most likely a good parm. When I place my order, the server asked me if I wanted anchovies, I love anchovies and remarked yes. My salad had a few well placed fillets. Tasted great and accented the salad. The server, when they placed the salad carried a pepper mill and asked “ fresh ground? fine or course?” nice detail. The service was excellent, paced and allowed me to relax. I felt no pressure and the meal was nicely timed. Desert: a chocolate crape wrapped around vanilla ice cream, placed on a chocolate sauce, topped with dollops of whipped cream with some strawberry slices. The strawberries were stunning. Tasted like strawberry. I know that sounds weird but sometimes the flavors of each component gets washed out or is not delivered properly. All the desert components where given a equally high importance in this dish. Ps: A cappuccino. You won’t be disappointed choosing this place. Nicely done and with pride.More

Stopped in Zionsville for an outdoor dining experience. Had a wonderful dinner of veal saltimbocca and my husband had the black ink spaghetti with seafood. Both were excellent. We started with some delicious bread dipped in a tomato relish. Ordered a bottle of wiine on...the "specials" list. Was listed at $9 per glass and slash/$19. We assumed it was for a bottle. The listing was very deceptive. When we got the bill, it was $52 for the bottle. Very disappointed that they did not list the true price for the bottle. Would certianly ordered a bottle that was less expensive!More
