I love Opie Taylor's, it is one of my favorite places in town. It is nothing incredibly exciting or pretentious! The mozzarella sticks are fantastic and I love to order the grilled pork tenderloin! Service is hit or miss, but generally friendly.

Love this place, We should've went here instead of their neighbor (Malibu Grill) If in Town pass up Malibu Grill and get some Cheese sticks and a good Burger here...

The hamburgers were great! If you go on Monday the burger are $2 off. Excellent home made chips. The buffalo fries are nothing special. Service is good. The environment is nothing special - what you would expect from a college sandwich shop.

This is a great lunch stop or for a casual dinner. The Breaded Tenderloin sandwich is superb and my usual go to. There are excellent choices on the menu and all reasonably priced. There is usually a lunch special. They also serve beer and wine.

4 of us ate here on Saturday night after the IU game (around 8:30 PM). We were seated immediately and the waitress came over to get our drink and appetizer order. Once she returned with our drinks, we placed our food order. We had cheese sticks as our appetizer and they were great. They were really big - came out... More

The lighted sign outside entices customers, but upon entering Opie Taylor's, you are greeted by a rundown interior in desperate need of updating. Probably has not changed since they opened in 1984. Although the waitress was very sweet, the service was very slow and the food was just so-so. Won't be returning.

This is a convenient restaurant on the square that serves burgers and other sandwiches with all of the normal sides. The flat seasoned potatoes were good but the serving was too large. The coleslaw would have been better if they had reduced the celery seeds. Not a fan of the coleslaw. The prices are good for the amount of food... More

My son from IU took us here for lunch. It's a fun hamburger and more place with sports on the TV. I ordered the salmon salad which was excellent--grilled salmon on fresh greens. The woman who served us was incredibly nice and had many helpful recommendations for us as out of towners. My son and husband had burgers that they... More
