I'd been craving eggs benedict for so long, and this place delivered. Hollandaise was excellent and they served the eggs with tomatoes/hash browns/fruit. Service was very good and they enforced mask-wearing, which means a lot to me these days.

From the moment I saw their t-shirts “friends with benedicts” I had a smile on my face and knew what I would order. Food was delicious and fast. The little cup of apple pie filling was a nice touch. The atmosphere was great, bright and sunny and clean, even on a cold snowy day. Loved it. And they supported Northwestern arts by giving a discount to Dolphin show ticket holders.

We were seated right away and service was great. They have a nice varied menu, which we ordered pancakes, bacon, oatmeal, avacado toast with smoked salmon and coffee. It was good. The atmosphere is happy. We'd come back.

About once a week I have breakfast at Le Peep. I cannot say enough good things about Le Peep: outstanding menu, excellent and friendly staff, food is typically out in less than ten minutes, and the price is very reasonable.
Anyone visiting Evanston and/or Northwestern University must eat at Le Peep. This is my favorite breakfast spot by far!

Great service always clean and quick with a larger portion. Food is always constant and good. We have ate here many times after a Saturday football game. Come early or you will wait to get in but definitely worth the waiting.

Awesome breakfast and service. Ate there both mornings we were in Evanston. Pumpkin pancakes were the best I ever had.

The food here at Le Peep is good. There are lots of breakfast items to choose from. Our server, Rudy, was great.

We last visited Le Peep over 18 months ago. So it was very nice to find it as cosy and welcoming as it has always been. We had the breakfast sandwich -- two pancakes, eggs made to order (we chose scrambled), and two strips of bacon, to which we added a side of hash brown potatoes and coffee. The pancakes were fresh and fluffy, and the service was friendly. It was a very satisfying start to our first day in Evanston this visit, and a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast. Good to see some things don't change. We'll be back to explore the new additions to its menu.

Very large menu, sunny room, pleasant staff. Had the belgian waffle combo with over eggs and sausage, with potatoes - huge! Also ordered the Spinnaker egg white omelette, with fresh spinach, mushrooms, bacon and cheese - really great. Potatoes also come with...solid breakfast.

The avocado toast (marked "New!" on the menu) was a major disappointment: ordinary whole wheat package bread made soggy by bland avocado. Others in my party enjoyed pancakes. My husband accidentally ordered the Greek egg white omelet (he wanted an all egg omelet) and found it mushy and bland. I had an order of delicious bacon.

Recently met a friend at Le Peep for breakfast and waited about 5 minutes for someone, anyone, to bring a glass of water or offer me coffee. I flagged someone down to ask for water. Server was nice, goofed on my order (really minor-asked for french toast without powdered sugar but it came with sugar nonetheless- and nothing I couldn't actually eat) but was a ghost after dropping off our plates. I was one of a couple of people who had to poke a head in the kitchen area to request a check. Will I return? Maybe. Le Peep really needs to have their servers out on the floor spending more time serving.

We were there on a Saturday morning and the restaurant was full but they were able to get us a seat right away. We had just arrived in town and had not yet checked into our hotel. They were kind enough to keep our rollerboards up front while we dined. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was good and we left full.

Went to this restaurant this morning around 9:30am, we were seated immediately. The waiter was right there to serve coffee and take our order. We tried the special pancakes which was two peach cobbler pancakes, they were very good! Also had stuffed French toast and another person in the party, had eggs home fries and bacon.
This is a very good choice for breakfast. About $15 per person without tip.
