A great mix of local ingredients prepared to perfection, great attention to details in flavours and service. We stayed at the hotel and ate there almost every evening. Highly recommended.

TIMUR KITCHEN The Hidden Gems of Culinary Adventure On the eastern side of Komaneka at Keramas overlooking the beach is the restaurant Timur Kitchen. (Timur means ‘east’ in Indonesian.) The sophisticated contemporary design of this open-air restaurant is rich with wood sculpture and intricate details inspired by the old era of the royal Balinese kingdoms, as well as a water fountain and pond as a symbol of prosperity and luck. The stunning location gives a spectacular 360-degree view overlooking the Indian Ocean, the neighboring island (Nusa Penida), Bali’s highest volcano Mount Agung, and the Komaneka at Keramas own rice fields. On the lower level is the Beach Club’s 320 sqm swimming pool with its own white sandy beach, contrasting with the exotic black volcanic sands of the Keramas beach. The venue has capacity of 72–100 patrons and 20 seats in the extensive Beach Club area overlooking Keramas beach shaded with palm trees and beautiful tropical gardens. Timur Kitchen serves rich Indonesian cuisine and savory international dishes incorporating the finest fresh local ingredients, perfectly prepared by Komaneka’s Executive Chef. We create an entirely new taste for a perfect gustatory adventure. Events and special dinners can be arranged to meet your needs for a memorable culinary journey in a spectacular natural environment of stunning Balinese landscape and architecture, under the care of the gracious service and welcome team. We are pleased to welcome you to feel the beauty and special spirit in the hidden sanctuary of Timur Kitchen at our home by the sea.
