We were staying at the Travelodge by Wyndham and this restaurant is attached. We tried it out one night and we had enough leftover for the next day's lunch. The portions are huge. They also had a lot of options and everyone could find something...they liked. The service was excellent and the staff was very attentive. I would go back next time I am in Chicago whether or not I stay at the Travelodge.More

When in the area and it's freezing outside, this is the kind of place you walk into. Never mind creative decoration or a cozy feeling, you will not find it here. Actually, you'll probably avoid walking into this place by the looks of it. However,...once inside, personnel is friendly, food is correct (we had edamame with crab rangoon), a yellow curry dish and pad si eew. Food is kind of too salty but acceptable. the Mango bubble tea was good but too sweet (looks like they use salt and sugar in this place). Dinner for 2 will run you about 40 to 50 bucks, which is what you'd expect in a Thai place.More

We asked for spicy, but the food was too overspiced and super bland, it just tasted like chili flakes were thrown into the dishes. No real flavor, under salted. Would not recommend.

We ate some curry and tried the teriyaki and tempura as well. I enjoyed the curry more. And we loved the lychee smoothie and thai iced tea. The price for our lunch seems pretty low for the area. Great!

It's Thai and reliable, though not very authentic. Food is good though if you are staying at Travelodge and don't want to walk far.

I was in Chicago for some C.E. We have a quick break for lunch and found Thai Spoon and Sushi close to our hotel. We ended up coming back twice for lunch. I had the Spicy Fried Rice and Pad Thai. Both were delicious. Only...complaint was it was a little warm inside the restaurant. Services was fast and friendly.More

An unpretentious and off the beaten track little restaurant/café with great Thai food. The staff were not the most friendly, but were efficient and not unpleasant by any means. Also great value. I would definitely seek this out again if I were in Chicago again.

Very adequate food for the cost. The food was better than I expected based on the quality of the menu. Not the best food, but good.

Attractive inside. Menu has gluten-free indications. Service a little slow. Waitress was not pleasant at any point and left water glasses empty. I very clearly ordered plain salmon and veggies with zero seasoning or spices, explaining my food allergies. When it came covered in pepper,...she tried to tell us there were no spices. She was non-apologetic and grumpy about taking the plate back. When it came back, the salmon was cooked to great toughness and partly burned. Our other meal, a chicken noodle dish, had black burn spots throughout and tasted burnt. It was just spicy hot (they don't give choice of hotness level) and burn tasting. When less than half was consumed, there was no offer to wrap the rest for us to take; not that we would have wanted it.More

As very frequent travelers, we eat Thai meals in cities all over the world, and this restaurant did not disappoint. In fact, we dined here twice in 3 days because we enjoyed it so much. The Pad Thai and Pad See Yew were both outstanding!...The staff was friendly and efficient, too. Amazing prices, too. ($9 dishes) Highly recommend!More
